your vedios are very helpful in understanding the practical work of engine room . I request you to keep this extraordinary work and also request you to come up with more vedio soon...
Sorry My english is not good but you didnt show how to know the correct possition of mechanical seal? First, you measured the distance between shaft and mechanical seal but you didnt explain and didnt show how to assembly of mechanical seal
Hey good question..... We can't put the mechanical seal without taking out the shaft,as there is impeller at one end and a coupling flange on other end...Also to adjust the distance of mechanical seal the shaft has to be taken out...
It's a good video, nice. But i have one suggestion, you can tight the mechanical seal cover after installing the rotor to the casing, then tight the all coupling bolt. Then you can check the rotaion ( alignment is correct or not). If okk then u can see how much the tension on the mechanical seal. You can see directly if you not tight the seal cover, then you can tight the seal cover properly. If the seal tension is very less, there is a chance to leakages. And seal seal tension is very high, there is a chance to damage the mechanical seal.
Firstly highly appreciate ur comments......and u mentioned it right ...u can proceed with tightening the cover accordingly to prevent leak and over tightening...yes we can do that way...
and if tighten or slightly tighten seal cover. while moving assembly from workshop to bottom. if rotor hits stair or something seal might break over there only. we can tie seal cover to rotor coupling while moving from one place to other. specially for big pumps.
These vdos are very vitals and helpful.. normally when any major work is there junior engineers are put in night watch 😂
Thank you for posting this video. I have always been weary of renewing mechanical seals and now I am confident.
Too much loaded video sir. I really appreciate your efforts for this.every time i learn something new from you.once again thank you sir
One of the best channels for detailed information of dismantling various components.

Thank you sir 🙏

Which type of mechanical seal?
Sorry My english is not good but you didnt show how to know the correct possition of mechanical seal? First, you measured the distance between shaft and mechanical seal but you didnt explain and didnt show how to assembly of mechanical seal
The great thing to see
It's difficult if there's not the same center between Elmot and the pump foundation 😅
Please make purifier complete overhaul video
Can't we put mechanical seal without taking out shaft. By removing the distance piece can we put mechanical seal
