unseasoned rubber 😂😂😂😂
The mini buses are not called "alugueres" like you said...."aluguer" means "rent". They are called "Hiace", which is the model of the car by Toyota.
They have the sign "aluguer" on it, which means either they era rented or you can rent them to bring you to the other cities and places on the island
Too much wind blowing over your microphone.
Dude, 12 Euros for that? I sell that in Fogo for 6 Euros and better restaurant environment. I am not sure who your guide was, but they were killing you. hahaha
You really need to get a better microphone.
There are plenty jitneys.
Why do you bother with a guide?? Just go and explore on your own…… if you get lost your phone will sort it out
But seems like very quiet and beautiful country their are no street people like ghetto or something very different country in Africa compare to others African countries
There are ghettos in the city. You don't know what you're talking about.
Seems like he was playing you. I have come to expect a little hate from local guys no matter what African country I visit. It appeared young lady was interested in you before he sort of hijacked the convo.

So where is the part that is shocking? Lot of click bait on your channel, too bad........

What's the official language there? What money do you use? Is it safe for a white european to go there for holiday?
Official language is Portuguese, but they have their own Creolo. Money is escudos, can use dollar and euros. I am a white guy from America, been living here for 4 years. Never had a problem, people are very friendly.
Unprofessional sound quality, boring presentation and no sense for the beauty of that island. There is no reason to watch this video to the end...
Adios!
Is French the official language?
no Portugueses
@kellyandrews8161 no, Creole.
@@StuartAinsworth Isso do creolo, é reconhecido pelas Nações Unidas, ao menos? Até tem vergonha de dizer que falam português...NO APTO.
Cape Verde people they can't survive in SA I mean they think they're Europeans 😢
Of course we are Europeans... 😅
Péssimo guia, péssimo. Vocês nem foram a Ponta de Atum e nem visitaram o lugar onde os surfistas fazem artes tradicionais. Esperava mais desse vídeo
muito ruim mesmo 👎🏾
Always negative. 😢
No, my videos are always neutral. You might focus on the negatives because of personal insecurities.
your white girl friend carla is with you again, you always wst africa whic country you have been to in west africa except nigeria,
I'm so confused by this accent, first time here. Are you a white man in black man skin? lol
😅
The video is nice but your argument about people speaking a different language you don't understand is not necessary. And come on! Shocking: Inside Tarrafal, Cape Verde in 2024? you are being dramatic.
Funny story, I am always asked what language I speak, mostly French, Portuguese, German, sometimes English. I tell them no, better to speak to me in Creolo, I understand them better! Then they ask if I am Cape Verdean.
This does not look like an African city.
It’s because it’s a Island 😅
You make great content however you have a penchant of talking negative about Africans. When you go to Russia or France do you ask them to speak English. You ain’t no boss to dictate what people should say and the language they speak.
@@chrisb4629 If i have a tour guide, i will absolutely expect him to speak English or translate, otherwise im exiting the situation. You don't even understand the point im making, so save the lectures.
Perhaps you should make an effort to speak their language. Have some respect.
@@pauladam2853 Spoken like someone who has never traveled a day in his life.
Police brutally in Cape Verde wow black people jst cannot be free
@@Simphiweful I would assume it doesn't have anything to do with race
It is our responsibility to speak a/our common tongue. Embarrassingly, English (and specific our European ones) are tarnished colonial/imperial language.
U lie, cotonou hv this kind of streets and its very clean
