Wasn't there that day and don't feel that I can speak for certainty on what happened. But everything about that reaction from even the initial shoe scrape was just over the top, even the demanding for new shoes because they got scuffed on accident. Based on previous ride experience, when you ride you accept the risk of your clothes getting dirty, ripped or damaged. I ruined my own shoes and shirts on these rides from biffing it. I've had my shoes scuffed by other riders. You clean it off and acknowledge the accident. It happens. It was clear that this malfunction was unintentional. I fully agree that this is not the way we should react to these kinds of issues and I hope that this is the only time the group has to experience something like that.

    On the lighter note
What would you say the average riders mph is on the rides?
Can people with generic 500/750w bikes keep up? Or is pretty much everyone modded?
Thanks for the post even with the sad beginning

Definitely, Mason was riding a stock SUPER73. The only issue is that he was running out of battery towards the end. I would recommend getting a chibattery like mine or bringing a super charger (which you can also get from Chibatterys) to charge up when we take a break. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel.

Also you can’t put “ yea no shit” when your the one almost rear ended the scooter with both hands off the bars lol..

Bad judgement from the rider with the fucked up throttle. You don’t troubleshoot that shit in a congested spot with people. The other dude’s elbow got fucked and could’ve suffered a serious head injury from it. I’d be pissed too

  • @racko6ix
    @racko6ix 2 года назад +2

Yea, I mean......hmmmmmm. The dude with the throttle issue should have recognised that he needs to point / take his bike AWAY from
people and objects in the bikes possible projectory. Especially after the initial run off, and then, the obvious, "controlled" donut spins.
That would be a piss off for me if dude hit me a second time after knowing he had E problems in the throttle wiring.
I wouldn't get all tough guy and then start punching him. I would show him reactions towards my dis pleasure and say something like, " Dude....TaKe....ThE bIke,,,,AWAYYYYYY from the crowd, and then figure it out....dummy."

    • @mylifepoetic

I think it's weird that people expect NO REACTION. The scuffed shoe thing was just childish. But if I go to a bike ride and end up hurt from someones negligence, not sure what my reaction would be. Or dear lord if I had a kid or my girl with me.

I salute this group for having a zero tolerance rule for violence, although the aggressor was hit twice with the bike, there should be no space for reactions like that... it was obvious that both times were a mistake... we all need to learn this.... there's alot to take from this one incident.... thanks for posting

It was an honest mistake, yet the dude took it way too personally and proceeded to beat him up for it. Not surprising tbh considering how one of my buddies actually rode with the manchild prior to this ride one time and told me he got super aggressive even before he got drunk.

I hear what you saying. But in what from the context of this video leads you to that thought? Other than the facted its a modded bike?
Ghost throttle is a common issue with bac controls or could be wired bad or just faulty.
But nothing from this video leads me think irresponsible owner that dont want to own up to his high powered bike

it would be different if the guy was aiming the sur ron at the other guy on purpose but to me it was a clear bike issue. it was an accident and he didnt mean to throttle his bike into people. weak move from the aggressor, he couldnt comprehend that it wasnt intentional

Obviously something wrong with the bike; either the throttle shorted and sent a signal, or the controller had a fault and mis-read the input. His hand wasn't even on the throttle when the bike spun up the second, third, and fourth times. Now, he did make the mistake of messing with it with the power on and the wheel on the ground, but it was a mistake and he wasn't trying to ram the guy on purpose. Throwing punches solves nothing, and I just hope everyone learns from the experience.
That aside, there were a lot of close calls on this ride. Regen braking would be nice on those long downhills, but I don't have it either, lol. I should be riding with Shreddie again next week, and if he does a range test I'm riding with THREE batteries!
