Hello, I am a American, my daughter just moved to Warsaw , sh getting married to a polish boy , can’t wait to go there for there wearing I’ll be soon on August. I just can wait, thank you so much for sharing this video.
One of the nicest places i have ever visited. Cheap. Lovely food. Lovely people. Some great scenery. The Old Town is just wonderful. Will definitely be back in the future.
Born there, lived in Warsaw between 1945 -1975.Left to Sweden, then to Germany,England, and then to RSA,.After 8 years on African continent moved to USA.Warsaw now is a very beautiful town, with a lot of wonderful attractions.,especially in Downtown Area, and Old Town. When my parents and sisters were living there I use to visit Warszaw everfy second year but now it is a totally different situastion.I am not young anymore and I decided not to travel to Europe anymore. This a wonderful movie.Thank you very much.
For a country to come back after not being on world maps for 123 years is an incredible feat. Then getting physically wiped off and getting back up - another.
-53:56 and - 51:56 0n the right hand side apartment where I lived and so did my family with the Kino on the corner. The view to the Unknown Soldier was not obscured and the building looked quite modern upmarket in the day. I still have a key for the lift somewhere. My family also in the AK and fought in the uprising. I have pictures of my uncle with his unit from then. My mother a teen at the time served as a nurse. They both survived.

Hello
@45:00 No loud music at this square.
When I took this video, what time was it?
Apologies for the late reply. This was filmed on the 17th of July 2020. The recording started around 7.30pm
I don't recall Warsaw streets ever being this empty. Where z Germans coming?
No Jerries. Just covid
Germans come to Gdańsk or Wrocław(Breslau). They drive to places where their Grandparents lived since second ww
Major wave of trip into Poland.
