Some off roading on the Holy Jim Trail in Trabuco Canyon after a rain fall. Toyota Landcruiser 100 and 200 series and a Tundra after a rain fall. - Авто/Мото
i did that section at 1:47 today in a v10 touareg i got a few days ago it was a blast super amazing vehicle and the rain made for some great puddles too! 6:24 i crawled up to that and turned the f**k around lol! but the one to the right of it is good fun
Also, was the 200 in low range for most of that cause you can get so much more control in low range.
It was in high range.
I have a 84 K5 I'm dying to take out for it's first off road trip. Looks like a great place to start. I'm in Yorba Linda so I'm close to this place.
Problem is, since this video they blocked this section. So maybe Cleghorn, off the 15 Fwy?
it's open now :)
That winching at the end had me cringing! If that winch cable snapped, the operator and some spectators were standing wayyyy too close. The operator was in the exact spot where the cable would’ve come flying back to. He would’ve been taken OUT if the cable snapped.
Agreed.. he was a rookie
What is the coordinate of that trail?
In behind Rancho Santa Margarita, Holy Jim
lovely video

what tire size has the 200 LC? Is it lifted?
The front has the coil spacers which gives it the lift. Tires are 33s.. most markets outside the US get the spacer front lift which evens it out and gets rid of the nose dip. But US doesn't. Simple upgrade, changes the look.
@@CruisingTheLand thanks, i think i saw your 100 black for sale??
Not mine. I don't own a black LC 100 series... its on my bucket list.
Are these cars 2wd?
200 series is Full-time AWD with KDSS suspension giving you the best of both worlds (street and offroad)
This only answers for one vehicle. What about the other two?
Fj62 is 2wd and 4wd shift selector. All others are full time AWD
Does that 200 have atrac ?
Yes, and KDSS and Traction control crawl... 1 2 or 3 kph.
@@CruisingTheLand was any of that being used on this video ? Doesn’t look like it the way it struggled.
@@omgcheeter no, I didn't use the crawl feature. The crawl you would engage when you get stuck, and let the traction control get you out. The KDSS did engage (or disengage I should probably say...) which is automatic, so wheel can droop and articulate.
@@CruisingTheLand 4lo in 1st gear center lock will get you up that np.. u gotta trust the atrac system, it will get u up even tho you feel like ur spinning, just gotta steady on the throttle and apply some left foot braking to slow the loose wheel.
That's not a very nice way to talk about the guys girlfriend in the Rubicon since he was nice enough to stop and help 6:30
lol..
He's got a wench...
your RELIABLE Toyota family couldn't make it bro :p
Lol. Video says otherwise.
You should see one of my offroad videos... Jeeps were taking 7,8,10 runs at a Boulder obstacle, takimg 10-15 minutes each... then it was the turn of a 1985 4runner, which did it in 1 shot... no problem!! Got it on video! It the John Bull offroad viseo about 3/4s of the way thru! TOYOTA STRONG!
Can you take a side by side
A side by side at Holy Jim?
It is monitored by CHP, so I think you must be licensed.
@@CruisingTheLand it’s a green sticker vehicle
@@CruisingTheLand yes tryna go today
@@josemagana6792 I have not seen a side by side out there before.
Is this trail still open ?
The road stops at the first creek crossing. So the hiking trail head is closed... as the road is closed long before that spot.
Do you know of any other trails near by I want to take my tahoe on a easy trail let me know bro thanks !
Johnny Hurtado mead valley in Perris. Super easy on the left side. And a bit more challenging on the right side. My 2000 4runner makes it and it’s 2wd.
It’s open again
