    Practice is the key! The more metalwork you do the better and faster you will be, take your time and your results will show it! 👍

    It took me a long time to get into any metal/body work. Now I wish I had more places (and time, too) to apply it. You can always cut it out and redo!

    as far as I can tell the car is 19 gauge which is very hard to get most have been using 18 gauge like me and on the frame its 14 gauge like the front body mounts I made.

    Good to see you jumping in… its not so scary. Nearly everything can be fixed if you blank it up. The biggest cost is time when that happens. As Mike said most of the body is 19 gauge and while ive found a source in the midwest most local shops dont stock. 20 makes a decent match since the 70 year old 19 gauge has thinned a tad 😂. Some places a big tad

      I will have to check around for 19 gauge. We do have a few shops with in driving distance. You have some excellent work going on!! Following

      stockcar steel in Mooresville, NC has it. They actually delivered mine.
