This does work .. here in Australia there is no free trial though it costs $6.99 AU … you also have to allow permissions for all the apps .. it works brilliantly once connected via cable … usb is the way to go for good solid connection , I connected up a cheap Chinese unit .
Salamat Kuya! ❤❤❤🇵🇭 Ganda ng video! Very helpful and efficient! Filipino for the win ❤

Yes. You need to install Android Auto on your phone as well.
Surely the setup process only works if the head unit supports Android and Wi Fi connection.
Cheap Chinese head units only support wired Android Auto and are not Android devices.
My head unit doesn't display google play, can i do this on my phone instead?

Try to disable the equalizer of Spotify. Phone/head unit. Hope this helps
As of Android 10, Android Auto is integrated into the phone as a technology allowing the phone to connect to your car display
I downloaded the android auto app but it is not displayed on my phone screen. It says that I've installed this app on my phone
There is now Android Auto for phone screen. Check it on Google Play.
@@danyboyy9380 what is it please the name of the apps
@@rachid09ilyas it's called "Android Auto for phone screens"
Does it work when the phone screen is off/locked?
Yes. It will work even the screen is off or locked.
After some minutes it shows error that you are using free version
The app developer write the following, it is free for five minutes only? but I did not test it yet.
Did you need the android auto usb dongle?
no
This worked
Hey i dont know i can't connect it by usb . It show me (usb host enumeration is not supported) on headunit . What should i do please ??
Hi. Did you enable USB debugging?
@@jansen_vlog yes it actived on headunit app .
The error message is :
No connected Usb device detected . If you device is plugged in it's possible that Usb host enumeration is not supported on this device. A SIMPLE plug in of the device should kick-start headunit automatically
Try to turn on USB debugging on your phone's system settings as well. Some phones need to turn that on so that it can communicate properly with the headunit.
@@jansen_vlog thank you for your quick replys
I already try it with USB debugging on on my phone and also try it on off .
The same erreur message !!!
I try it with Wifi it works fine but took time to show up on headunit .
I prefer use USB because it fast to work on it. (Already test on friend car)
I get the same error did you find a solution?
Hi kabayan, i tried to follow the steps but it wont detect my phone, with debugging on and changed my phone to data transfer. I have android 11 head unit and android 13 phone.
Yung usb cable di niya ma detect yung mga phone namin. Android 12 and 13 version
Can't it be linked wirelessly?
Yes. Here's how:
ruclips.net/video/i9vLdNTx04Q/видео.html
Unfortunately, it didn't work for me.
I tried by using my phone as a WiFi hotspot as well as by trying WiFi Direct but neither worked.
What head unit is that?
It's Spreadtrum SC9853i Octacore Intel Airmont with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM.
Mine only asks for acces to usb and that is all. What should i do?
Hi. Make sure you enable USB dubugging for both head unit and phone.
Thanks ma ggggggg
It doesn’t it said press the brake
What is the difference with the trial version and paid version
Trial version meaning you can only use the app for a limited time. After the app expires, the app won’t work or you cannot use it anymore. While the paid version, you can use it anytime you want.
@@jansen_vlog Thank you I will give this app a try👍
Dear Jansen: I downloaded the paid version and it worked for a while. I then uninstalled the trial version to save storage space. Unfortunately the paid app stopped working. When I connect the phone through USB cable the app loads and ask me to confirm which USB device is to be used (I have two USB ports). I select the one that shows my phone. But then nothing happens, I have once uninstalled the app and downloaded again from the Play Store but still no luck (I was surprised that the play store charged me again for the download). Please tell me how to sort out these issues. Thanks in advance
Hi. Try to clear the app's cache and data to refresh the app.
@@jansen_vlog does not work
Hi. Did you enable USB debugging mode?
@@jansen_vlog yes
It's not free application
Not much good if you have an aftermarket head unit
