- VIA #14 (Ocean) had 4 locomotives, 3 deadhead HEP 1 cars, 13 Renaissance cars and Tweedsmuir Park as it passed Windsor Junction NS at 5:30 pm on 28 April 2016. The extra equipment was for VIA Safety Day to be held on the following Saturday.
I've never seen a VIA with 4 locomotives before great find!
+John F Two were coming to Halifax especially for Safety Day - one was put on display for the public and one pulled the special train. The other two returned the Ocean to Montreal.

That is one hell of a consist! I have never seen VIA run a train that long, before. I mean, aside from the "Canadian".
