“The point is, art never stopped a war and never got anybody a job. That was never its function. Art cannot change events. But it can change people. It can affect people so that they are changed... because people are changed by art - enriched, ennobled, encouraged - they then act in a way that may affect the course of events... by the way they vote, they behave, the way they think.”
    ― Leonard Bernstein

My favorite piece ever. It's pretty much perfect.

Aah it's so slow and deliberate, creating space to encompass the full breadth of the piece.

I know right for the first five minutes I was like too slow wth then I realized it was allowing the piece to manifest its full richness like I had't known there was such a contemplating side of this movement guaw

The music depicts how the battle tank marching towards a furious battlefield at the beginning.

I swear, the 2nd movement turns me into a freakin barbarian and brute. F*ck subtlety and nuance. I want FORCE, I want noise, I want a hard-on.

Is it just me or is the opening notes of this movement a musical jumpscare
