Hello there! I made this a week or so ago for my 3 year-old niece when she came over for a tea party. She helped to mix and sprinkle the icing sugar on top. She loved it so much I made it for her again a few days ago. I didn't have enough cherries, so I added some peaches. She even pronounces the name correctly. "I want some clafoutis please!" Thank you for your easy, delicious recipes!
Awesome recipe. I replaced cherries (out of season) for a combination of straw, blue and raspberries. I also replaced the suggested cup of regular milk for a combination of coconut and oat milks. Lastly, I decided to use half a cup of AP and half a cup of whole wheat flours, followed the recipe instructions and the results were fantastic. Thank you so very much. Cheers.
I made this with bananas , grapes , strawberries and it always turned out amazing It’s actually addicting I eat it by myself in one setting It’s so creamy and melts in you mouth Anytime I have some fruit that has been sitting around. I do this recipe never fails me.
Hi, it's out of the oven for 30 Min. now and it looks and smells fantastic. Just taking a bite...mmmh, so good! A simple and quick recipe; thank you for sharing. Greetings from Munich.
Hey there ! :) I just got this video as a suggestion because I just posted a Cherry Clafoutis recipe on my channel, and I must say, I'm so glad that RUclips suggested you ! The video is BEAUTIFUL ! I'm subscribing :)
What a lovely experience your video was, visually, musically, and so appetizing. It was five minutes very well spent! (And I'll make my first ever cherry clafoutis this week...that's a promise!)
This is the traditional French recipe. I don't use butter and instead of vanilla extract I use 20 grs of sugar with vanilla. This weekend I'll do it with Mascarpone cheese. It's also delicious. If it isn't the cherry season try with apples. It's a very good and easy recipe.
Hey I tried this today n it turned out soooo amazing n delicious that my brother hardly left a quarter piece for us to eat. I wanna share a pic with you how can I? Thanks for the wonderful n easy to go recipe.God bless uh!
Always love your videos great food beautiful presentation and easy to follow. As a single man you have let me impressed a lot of people with my cooking and baking skills so thank you and keep up the good work 👍🏽🇨🇦
I'm taking a shot at this tonight. I try to do my part as husband and dad of two. I've got an entree brewing up in the pressure cooker (meatballs) and I'm going to have this for dessert.

привет из Украины!случайно увидела ваше видео и решила приготовить для семьи,пирог настолько вкусный .что сразу уплели его за обе щеки:).Очень вкусно!!!
@anthonychantelle Hollister What you "heard" and what other people inform can be and absolutely are both still valid and legitimate. It's silly to contradict others when you have no clue what they are even referring to, and how silly to think that what you "hear" is the only explanation there could possibly be. Surely you know better than that, Anthony. Furthermore, perhaps don't try to engage a 5 year old comment in conversation.
@@CARRIEFITER The first few times I made this I didn't remove the stones (it was an old recipe) and people were choking and biting on the stones. I suppose if you want to do in your children it would be beneficial to leave the stones in place. I've since removed the stones and it's a much more pleasant dessert to eat. It's rather tacky spitting pits back in to dessert plate. The reason the old recipes didn't pit is because cherries being a stone fruit they release an almond flavor, plums, peaches and nectarines will do the same. This recipe adds almond extract so why leave the pits in? I didn't notice the cherries were dry, they're juicy and you won't run the risk of choking one of your Guests or one of your children to death. But then perhaps you could plan a game like paintball but instead spit cherry pits at one another. Cherry pitters can be found at stores like Wal Mart and Target, I found mine on Ebay Years ago and they aren't that expensive. The dessert is delicious, looks delicious and is one that will impress family and guests alike so you likely will be making this again.
The original recipes would leave the pits in the cherries because they would give a hint of almond flavor. People would expect the pits in the cherries so they knew to eat the fruit around the pit and spit them out.. If you use pitted cherries then you add a little almond extract.
Oh my! I think I died and went to cherry heaven! I've got to make this! Looks kinda like a Cherry custard cake! Pie... I don't care! Looks yummy! I'm a hopeless cherry junky! Thx! For sharing!

Thank you for the idea. I want to add banana in the batter for sweetness instead of sugar. I will try to adf some walnuts too just for some crunch.
I absolutely LOVED this! So satisfying, not too sweet, just perfection! Thank you! Waiting cherry season!

Vos gâteau est super
I live and work in France, and many people use other fruits too in this, apples are great in clafouti.
Hello! Are these made with blueberries as well? I make a beautiful blueberry gallette, but this recipe seems better for the warmer months. Thank you!
You need some very tart apples though. Berries and stonefruit are the best in clafoutis.
Yeah, with greengage or mirabelles that's delicious.
I just made this, and it's come out really well! Thanks for a lovely and easy-to-follow recipe!

Exquisito y fácil
Just in case someone finds this interesting: the original clafoutis recipe recommends not removing the seeds because they help retaining water.
@anthonychantelle Hollister What you "heard" and what other people inform can be and absolutely are both still valid and legitimate.
