I don't understand why they won't make one at this size. Even an IPS/VA version. This is the perfect sized all around format for productivity, media consumption and PC gaming. The 34" Samsung G8 would have been perfect if it had 4k resolution (or even 1600P).
3D gaming is great, but the panel should ensure it uses the highest quality panel as the people who would buy this wouldn't be interested in downgrading panel quality from something like an OLED
Thank you! It drives me nuts that no (large) manufacturer has put fourth a 3D oled display in recent years. I feel like it makes sense as you wan't the quickest pixel response times to reduce crosstalk.
Not this year ! the 27 inch is exactly the same panel with smaller screen with 166 PPI vs 140 PPI for the 32 what is normal for an smaller screen the pixel density is higher but doesn t really change ! the only thing which is good is that they improve the VRR flicker to 15% or 20% but i don t think it s real is just gimmik marketing ! for me THE 32 inch 4K oled 240 hz is the best release until thje next year !
The concept of the Odyssey 3D has SO much potential - I always figured movies weren't the primary environment for 3D to shine, it makes much more sense in gaming when done properly (which is to say, to enhance realism/lighting etc rather than as a gimmick)
I think we hit a peak last year with 1440p/480hz OLED and there’s just not going to be anything worth upgrading to that isn’t BOTH brighter in HDR AND includes motion blur reduction technology on OLED.
27-inch 4K for gaming is pretty silly. Lower frame rates than 1440p, meanwhile the pixel density benefits over 1440p aren't nearly as impactful as they are for productivity, things like fonts etc. And it's a pretty smaller display. 32-inch 4K makes much more sense for gaming, at 27-inch 1440p is likewise a much compromise for gaming. It's all a bit of a nonsense.
@ no I know that forsure I was just saying cuz he mentioned the 600hz tn panel. But I’m team oled all the way nothing would ever make me not desire oled, except for micro led but it still seems like that’s a few years away before it’s obtainable at a reasonable price
as someone who is in the market for a top tier 1440p 27" OLED dislay, the new Gigabyte AORUS sounds goddamn INSANE. Looking forward to more hands on reviews when it comes around.
The most exciting ones for me were the 32" miniLED 5K 144Hz monitor from Acer, the 27" QD-OLED 5K display from Samsung and the 25" TN 1080p 750Hz monitor from Koorui.
Do you think we'll ever get a true 4K TV? I'm not talking about the 3840x2160 with the 16:9, which is UHD. I want to know why we don't get the 4096x2160 with the 17:9, which is the true 4K that you get in the cinematic experience. Those 256 extra pixels would be neat to see out in the consumer market.
I'll get excited when these companies make 240Hz 4k 42" TVs. I have an LG C2 42" and using anything smaller is just not acceptable anymore. Where are the great, large-format monitors??
@@bort7258that is 45" in 21:9, which is only 36" in 16:9.

anything bigger than 32" for any competitive shooter is a no no. 24"-27" is the sweet spot. If you're playing casual might as well get a 77"-83" OLED TV.
Why are this tiny 27" always gets so much attention? Since around 10 years, the smallest monitor I would say is at least nice, is a 32" 4K-UHD. Better 45" 4K ultrawide or 57" superultrawide. I think ideal would be an 34-37" 6-8K (16:9) or this hight in (super)ultrawide. I hope some day such displays would be built!?
I am desperate for these manufacturer's to figure out a different naming scheme for their monitors. Every monitor just being a string of absolutely random letters and numbers is so needlessly confusing.
im still on IPS 1440p 280hz Alienware monitor but its lookin like im gettin that spicy 4k Alienware Oled 240hz on my fav 27' size with high ppi, hopefully my 4090 will put in some work for 240hz at 4k
I don't understand why so many companies refuse to make monitors that work with the scailing for Apple products. 218ppi. Usually a 24" 4k 27" 5k 32" 6k monitor. As a software engineer who stares at text almost all day, I need that clarity but it seems Apple is the only one who cares enough. I do this ProArt just released a new 5k 27" monitor but why are 27" 5k monitors so rare?
The Matt displays get me so angry it’s not even logical how angry I get at Matt displays!!! Anybody who makes them or likes them should go to straight to jail for 25 to life.
Last year there was a big deal made about glossy WOLED, with the Asus XG27AQDMG being one of the first. How did the glossy monitor trend get accepted by the market?
I remember one from LG which has 2 awards of CES 2025, never mind probably if an expert like you not mention here, it must be trash.Another option, this video is a totally paid ad.
My Samsung S95D 77" looks 3D Already While using my High-End 4k Blu-ray Player while PC gaming using Thunderbolt Display port to HDMI...Please Samsung Give us a 83" Qd-Oled
Nah those LG 45in Ultrawides need to be on this list
Crazy it's not there.
This guy really didn’t like it which makes me question everything he says….
Amazed there’s no mention of the LG 45 4k ultrawide
And GIGABYTE MO27Q2
I just wanted an ultrawide 4k at 34 inches oled.
LG is making one tho its pretty big.
I don't understand why they won't make one at this size. Even an IPS/VA version. This is the perfect sized all around format for productivity, media consumption and PC gaming. The 34" Samsung G8 would have been perfect if it had 4k resolution (or even 1600P).
The perfect display for me wold be:
True rgb, self emissive, 40", 5k2k, ultrawide 21:9, curved, glossy, 480hz.
I can wait. Maybe in 2026.
3D gaming is great, but the panel should ensure it uses the highest quality panel as the people who would buy this wouldn't be interested in downgrading panel quality from something like an OLED

@jonjonmia Feel like there's barely (if any) mainstream 3D displays let's alone higher quality ones lol
Crazy this dude didnt mention the 45 inch 5k 2k monitors...
Were there no new gen 32” monitors?
Not this year ! the 27 inch is exactly the same panel with smaller screen with 166 PPI vs 140 PPI for the 32 what is normal for an smaller screen the pixel density is higher but doesn t really change ! the only thing which is good is that they improve the VRR flicker to 15% or 20% but i don t think it s real is just gimmik marketing ! for me THE 32 inch 4K oled 240 hz is the best release until thje next year !
Odyssey 3D, if Samsung manages HDR + 3D, that would be awesome. Else sacrificing one for the other will be a let down.
Exactly, you nailed it.
2008 called. It wants its gimmicky feature back
Where are all the ultrawides this year?
The concept of the Odyssey 3D has SO much potential - I always figured movies weren't the primary environment for 3D to shine, it makes much more sense in gaming when done properly (which is to say, to enhance realism/lighting etc rather than as a gimmick)
The only monitor I was looking forward to seeing was the LG 45” monitor. Couldn’t care less about everything else.
Any 48 inch ones?
This should be titled the best tiny monitors of CES.
Personally I'm excited for the new 45inch 5K2K ultrawide OLEDs from LG. Ultrawide OLEDs have been stuck at 3440x1440p for so long...
Its been about enough time for 3d to make a comeback, but if not, I am glad we have VR
This is great. I haven't seen anyone do a 2025 CES monitor deep dive.
1:25 we bringing the 3DS back????
I think we hit a peak last year with 1440p/480hz OLED and there’s just not going to be anything worth upgrading to that isn’t BOTH brighter in HDR AND includes motion blur reduction technology on OLED.
I'm so glad for 27 inch because any bigger makes it quite hard to play competitive RTS or MOBAs
Any LG 6k?
No ultrawide news? 32:9?

Tough choice, 32" 4k OLED vs 32" 6K IPS. That's the perfect resolution for a Mac. Hmm..
I have an M2 Max Studio, I plan to get either a gigabyte aorus fo32u (OLED 4k 32”) or the new Samsung G8 27 inch 4k 240hz qd oled that was at ces 2025
I miss passive 3d so much! I really hope 3d makes a comeback.
Hey I dont know if you seen it or not but Koorui displayed a 750hz 24" 1080p TN panel there as well
No amount of hz can make up for TN.
@ no I know that forsure I was just saying cuz he mentioned the 600hz tn panel. But I’m team oled all the way nothing would ever make me not desire oled, except for micro led but it still seems like that’s a few years away before it’s obtainable at a reasonable price
@@khalilshew4924 I doubt micro-oled will never become a thing for monitors, they require big sizes.
Now UV QD-Oled can be the future.
Any more "AFFORDABLE" 27" glossy OLEDS?
as someone who is in the market for a top tier 1440p 27" OLED dislay, the new Gigabyte AORUS sounds goddamn INSANE. Looking forward to more hands on reviews when it comes around.
Did Samsung not release any updates for their 55” Ark v2 or 57” curved monitors from almost two years ago? Even LG did no new releases on 50”+ why?
The most exciting ones for me were the 32" miniLED 5K 144Hz monitor from Acer, the 27" QD-OLED 5K display from Samsung and the 25" TN 1080p 750Hz monitor from Koorui.
We did not see 1000Hz so CES 2025 was disappointing for me
Any 8k monitor for video editing?
Asus 8k mini led 32" ,60 hz all metal
$8000
Asus 6k $1199
Asus. 5k $799
LG 6k all metal tb5 120,hz
BenQ 5k Dell 6,k ,8k

Smaller brands
i do love pulsar tech, low refresh rate but feel like hight refresh rate,i think next year will be the year for pulsar

u missed the Alienware 4k old 27 monitor, I thought that pricing and specs is everything people have waited for.
I'll get excited when these companies make 240Hz 4k 42" TVs. I have an LG C2 42" and using anything smaller is just not acceptable anymore. Where are the great, large-format monitors??
The LG 45" 5K2K OLED was an obvious miss in this video. Although it most likely gonna cost you a liver.
@@bort7258that is 45" in 21:9, which is only 36" in 16:9.

My 22 inch Benq full HD monitor is going nowhere 😎
Need 32 inch 4Ks with motion rate and DV
Is it too much to ask for a 27 inch 4K OLED 120Hz that doesn’t cost over $800!?
Those specs are too specific to be cheap
Only mass production panels are cheap like phone screens or TV's
Yeah
I've been looking for a 27" 4k OLED. But QD-OLED? No thanks. Samsung never cares about long term longevity with their panels.
Then just get the brand that offers 3 year warranty.

100%. These companies spend millions on branding, and yet the names of their products are a confusing mess which people can barely remember.

You know, premium workspace monitors are very limited, I only see Apple.
They make 3D monitors and still have no clue how to fix the VRR flickering on their OLED panels. 🙄

What the heck are you wearing 😳
This is the shirt you wear to CES!!! 😢 very sad
What, no mention of the new LG 45" OLED Monitors? LG 45GX990A (bendable, Flat to 900R) and LG 45GX950A (non-bendable, 800R). Both 5Kx2K (5120x2160).
came here to ask exactly the same thing
Which has won 2 awards in CES 2025

Ug. only tiny monitors for tiny-eyed humans.

That's NOT a 5K resolution monitor whatsoever.
5120 x 2160 = 4K ULTRAWIDE which is 21:9 aspect ratio.
LG's bullshit marketing loves deceiving mindless consumers.
🤣🤣🤣
All too small for old folks like me with presbyopia. 65+ inch 4K TVs is my only hope.
