1) most of the weapons viable for this have a high enough firing rate for them not to need increased fire rate. 2) it's not the fire rate you have to worry about, but reload time stopping the momentum and losing stacks. 3) summons can now crit, meaning the gun turrets can maintain stacks for you. It's stupidly overpowered. 4) because summons can maintain the buff for you, you can go with weapons that weren't nearly as viable before - for example, devastator, along with with the whetstone necklace, so you have forever 50% more crit damage, and 15% more crit chance. and just use your sidearm to build stacks initially, or boost mod power for turrets.
Little thing I found interesting Summons can also crit So if you dont have the pulse rifle you can just use the ar and smg and just slot a summon in one of them preferrably the turret because thats the most consistent summon
I got this game from Epic when it was free and been playing so much on it. Using this build is really fun, and more survivable than the one shot sniper build. If anyone like to play together I'm definitely down for it.
I usually run with beam rifle as well, consistent firing at same target giving dmg boost, i using swarm mod for it and usually it melt every thing pretty fast I can kill ixilis in the first time he try to should with this build
Comment for comments sake, followed by vague discussion about how this build falls short compared to my prefered playstyle which doesn't really makes sense and is actually a build around my drops cause I'm lazy
Neyreyan that’s true, but so are the AR and typewriter, but the beam rifle is much more accurate and has a higher base damage, as well as built in elemental dmg.
I always use swarm or sentinel to start the stacks then get going with the beam and trade heartseeker in here and there as 20% mr dmg on every crit is more consistent than a small chance at a massive one. The fusion rifle to me is a weapon mod weapon black rose lab armour and wear cultist piece and it will stay loaded no need for attack spread, then unload 1000 + dmg every couple of ticks..... It just 1 shots teammates in survival.... So... Careful
@Fextralife I know you're going for a high fire rate/high crit build here but i just wana point out Talisman of Animosity which increases weakspot dmg by 30% and with a weakspot kill you gain 10% all damage on top for 10 sec. It can so well be a viable option if one dont have Gunslingers charm
you can get critical chance and damage better using executioner + kingslayer + Osseous armour + thorn ring + eye of storm gun. The Osseous gives you more damage with same enemy, thorn ring gives you %10 more critical chance and additional 10% for slay enemy. You can get 30% critical chance and 75% critical damage. The radiant armour gives you the same 3% stack 10 but without same enemy damage which isn't as good Ossesous. Eye of storm uses less ammo and does more damage than fast firerate guns
What is the reason for the devouring loop recommendation for this build over the heartseeker ring. If you have 100% crit then the ring is a 24% damage boost on average - but thats only when at 100% - which takes some ramp up time - further the damage boost is wasted slightly if it procs when you're not hitting a weak spot. I prefer heartseekers ring - it increases all crit damage by 20% (making it a 20% damage boost when at 100% crit) and has the additional property of making your first hit against an unaware enemy auto-crit. This can be great for either quick ramping your ability - guaranteeing the first crit or for running hunter pistol as an offhand and allowing you to dispatch unaware adds at a distance with a headshot.
bosses are never unaware when in combat with them so heartseeker isn't exactly gonna be that great. also the ramp-up is pretty much nonexistent with the new AR that haarsgaard drops. plus you can still keep swarm in whatever offhand weapon.
infact i run this build with beam rifle. With new wisdom trait after you clear the ward prime (increasing raw element damage) the beam rifle get a massive boost (10% raw element damage) thing shred so hard
I do a version of this build except I have the charcoal neckpiece to increase spitfire base damage from shooting by 15% and its burning flamethrower by 50%, the 15% dmg increase to ranged and melee ring, and the Heartseeker ring which increases crit dmg by 20%. So I run beam rifle with swarm and spitfire obviously and I stack swarm with spitfire dot and then beam rifle the stacks to 10 almost instantly eventually doing 800+ dmg crits to weakspots with my dots ticking at the same time completely melting every encounter on hard with only 1 other person with me
I also swap out the radiant set for the warlord set sometimes and keep everything else the same to do the 40% dmg increase with lifesteal. Both swarm and flamethrower will keep me 100% health instantly while beam rifle hits up to 1300 per shot to weakspot
@@Neyreyan i play on nightmare. On my lvl difficulty - build Radiant/Fusion sucks. For now i use amulet +50% crit damage to bleeding enemis with fun of knives. To save staks on Radiant, when recharging Beam rifle - i use Swarm. Radiant/Fusion still sucks.
Good day! 1:32 Could you tell me, where i can find the sword in a which world and from which boss such a sword falls or from which artifact? please, with respect for you. just i never no see in the game)
It’s the “World’s Edge” Sword. It’s from the new DLC “Subject 2923”. You can craft it after you kill the boss “Harsgaard Root Harbinger”. Do you know how I know all that? I googled it and found it on Fextra’s site. An easy thing that you could have done.
It does on Nightmare, I like to swap the fusion rifle with the beam rifle and hunter's charm with radioactive ember in case I need to deal more damage.
Is Fusion rifle better than Beam Rifle with all of these plus Wisdom?(In case Wisdom Trait actually Increases the Elemental Radiation Damage the Beam Rifle Inflicts)

Most likely because of the long reload time, it can cause you to lose the radiant buff. I currently use the beam rifle and while it does melt everything when all the buffs are up, its very easy to lose those buffs if you reload and aren't able to start shooting immediately
@@michaelbolduc4554 isnt the reload time for beam faster than typewriter? i tested the beam and theres a extremely small window to keep the radiance buffs up

Why don't you use beam rifle? I haven't bought any dlc yet and only have 40 hrs on steam. To me the beam rifle has higher overall dps unless there are some wacky mechanics of the game that I don't know?
@@EredarLord honestly when I'm not fighting bosses or just roaming around I either use drifter armor with pocket watch or the twisted necklace, wolf ring, and the ring when you kill an enemy you get a boost. Or use slayer armour with crossbow. Currently I'm having fun with melee or shotgun build.
Pretty sure it’s a trait they’re using which increases movement speed, Swiftness. Also I was told most builds from a year ago are now outdated. Those from the Remnant Discord recommended looking for builds that are 6 months old or more recent. Gear pieces and armors have been balanced out and wording changed.
Channels that have more recent builds would be channels like Bolt Jamison and WryHarpy (this channel has builds in their Apocalypse Tested weapon videos). These two channels are my go to and more friendly to more recent players. This game has faced many nerfs and balancing changes since this video’s release.
I tested the numbers and beam rifle far surpasses fusion rifle. Both have 50 rounds per magazine Fusion deals around 50% less damage then the beam rifle but fires nearly 2x as fast, by this logic they are equal right?? No. Beam rifle ramps up in dames the longer it's fired meaning it will out DPS the fusion rifle. Fusion rifle is better on easy modes because its faster and enemies have less health. Any difficulty past normal throw that fusion rifle away and pick up the beam because it melts bosses and high HP.
I feel what also contributes to your statement is that this build is outdated, builds that are 6 months old or more recent hold up more. As I’ve noticed wording around many gear pieces has been changed and things aren’t as op as they were back then. If you’re still interested in some builds I recommend watching channels like Bolt Jamison or WryHarpy (he makes builds in his Apocalypse Tested video series). These channels have much more recent builds. As a more recent player I could not see this build being viable now besides on Normal where most things are viable.
Yeah, some games allow you to disable/hide helmet etc, I hope they'll make it an option but...They would've done it by now so I don't think they'll do it.
The build is good but on the hard side it is useless because I knock standard and elite opponents away easily but against a boss, hardly at all. On normal, anyone would have no problem with the build
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I was EXTREMELY unimpressed by the Fusion rifle. Just feels like a weaker Beam Rifle and the mod is really underwhelming.
I used to love this game when it first released. Unfortunately I got a corrupt save file on my character that had around 26 hours of time and had all armor and mods (at that time). Now I just don’t have the energy to start a new character as I know the game bugged me out of all my progress

I use it with ring of balance, its nice to see yellows 105,and Red 370dmg on Chicago type writer ,
What about heartseeker ring?
I tried it just how do u move around its so slow
Pretty sure it’s a trait they’re using which increases movement speed, Swiftness. Also I was told most builds from a year ago are now outdated. Those from the Remnant Discord recommended looking for builds that are 6 months old or more recent. Gear pieces and armors have been balanced out and wording changed.
Channels that have more recent builds would be channels like Bolt Jamison and WryHarpy (this channel has builds in their Apocalypse Tested weapon videos). These two channels are my go to and more friendly to more recent players. This game has faced many nerfs and balancing changes since this video’s release.
Surprised there is no mention of the beam rifle, the melter.
Nowhere near as good as it used to be before it got nerfed and the Fusion Rifle is such a monster so theres no point in using it really.
@@edderz101 I'm still rocking it and having success. That fusion rifle is indeed a beast though
I tested the numbers and beam rifle far surpasses fusion rifle.
Both have 50 rounds per magazine
Fusion deals around 50% less damage then the beam rifle but fires nearly 2x as fast, by this logic they are equal right??
All this cool gear and its ruined the silly looking backpack
Yeah, some games allow you to disable/hide helmet etc, I hope they'll make it an option but...They would've done it by now so I don't think they'll do it.
@@SunLevi You can hide helmet in Remnant
you know, they had to put their stuff somewhere right?
can you max upgrade boss weapons? i hear you should only upgrade normal gear to +15
is this viable in apocalypse
Neyreyan the fusion rifle isn’t that bad and it’s fun to use
Neyreyan i used it on nightmare a couple days ago and it was good for me with labyrinth armor
Oh fuck, the dlc is already out??
will osseaos? not fan of radient
But i have the Empowering ring, i'm sure it can fit instead of one of the four rings
Second this.
I used to love this game when it first released. Unfortunately I got a corrupt save file on my character that had around 26 hours of time and had all armor and mods (at that time). Now I just don’t have the energy to start a new character as I know the game bugged me out of all my progress
