Summoners can be hilarious when you have a team of them. Watching a dozen summons scamper off and swarm over everything in your path is surprisingly funny.
i wish the neck collar that stacks minion damage for numbers would also count when you have coop summoning, the more summons you get, the more damage they do, imagine, i believe at that point, this would be the afk build xD
I like summon builds because while my aim is fine, I like annoying the hell out of my best friend by having summons out all the time for him to accidentally shoot.
Honestly, my "support" build is literally just running Burden of the Devoted with Leto's, Terror Margin and Aggressor's Bane and just face tank, the life leech gets spread around to allies
i went through apocalypse with +10 melee/armor and +15 guns. hunting rifle/hunting pistol, fan of knives/wildfire shot, leto's helm and legs, void chest, twisted idol, ring of honor, and keeper's ring. 430ish armor at 50 weight for mid rolls. general idea is manipulating gearscore based enemy scaling to keep damage relevant and using gear to compensate for weaker defensive stats. maintaining bleed+burn dots keeps bosses ticking away so as long as you don't die, you're always making progress.
I've got a fun summon/bleed heal talk build🤣 full letos, nightmare spiral, soul link, bloodletters and then shotgun or typewriter with fan of knives and then sawed off with turrets and then the riven melee to top it off
I've been working on a freeze build. Can anyone help me tweak or rethink this? I really enjoy it when it works... Chicago typewriter with frozen mist Machine pistol with blizzard. Will swap with ice spear as soon as I find it. Frostborne axe Radiant armor Driftstone. I occasionally swap with the amulet that gives 25% mod gen for damage against active status effects. Braided thorns, devouring loop. Basically a frozen crit build. Works well for crowd control. Any rings or armor that might synergize better with the status effect?
I might have gone insane, but how much "effective " "melee" meme build would be with white rose and using hive canon for corrosion after which taking it of for 2 empty gun slots (sorry I'm new and not to sure about white rose interactions, and if Heros sword projectiles would be powerd up by melee rings...)?
I like using the beam rifle with the Osseus Armor on bosses. It works wonders on Claviger and Ixillis(especially when she charges up that annoying scream)
I will say im not that great at the game but when playing survival game mode it actually introduce me to a summoner type build and found out I love it because it gave more of an opportunity to pay attention to positioning and boss mechanics and also allowed be to complete my hardcore attempt all the way through after almost a year and a half of not playing and back when summoners were not even a thing. Now im just looking for that golden child summoning build in survival so i can get my 10 streak boss kill. i got up to 9 but then died because i got too overexcited and just messed up with positioning lol.
I like the radiant swarm build a lot. Because I’m newer to the game my first build was fusion rifle radiant Crit build. And my first really good weapon was the beam rifle so I like it. But I do feel like actually using a gun sometimes.
Summoner builds are great for this game. Particularly Iron Sentinal with the Soul Link equipped. I find myself using this combo even when I'm running a crit build. Almost every boss has adds and the turrets plus heal help mitigate add damage which can get ridiculous.
I wanna tag along with my friends that are just going to get into the game. What difficulty for them is the best when using a support build? I dont wanna ruined their experience by making them way too strong/weak.
Start on hard for sure. They might not be able to handle nightmare, but your damage is going to be insane regardless. You can try melee on on claws and bleed leech
@@Phemeto do you know the damage differences between nightmare and hard? I heard it was 300% damage on nightmare a while ago, but it seems that the devs had changed it?
3:53 Personally don't enjoy automatics in this game. When snipers or repeating rifes have a weighty kick and autos just don't it feels bad to use. The numbers obviously are big and do lots of damage overtime but I'd rather use something slow and impactful.
Eye of the Storm cannot hit weakspots? Or its mod can't hit weakspots? I also don't like Beam Rifle. Because it has a deceptively lower rate of fire than it looks.
Eye of the storm can hit weakspots and crit like any normal gun but if you fire it a tad bit too fast the spread becomes very wide which is not well represented in the hitcirlce on the screen and makes you miss weakspots. The mod can hit weakspot but because its huge it often misses it, kinda counterintuitive. On the beam rifle it literally states the fire rate of the weapon right next to how much damage it deals....
@@bite12344 Oh. He said something in the video about how you can't hit weakspots with Overload, but I guess he means difficult to hit weakspots? I know the number is there. But I mean for a continuous beam, it looks so janky when the fire rate is as low as it is.
@@GrubKiller436 About the overload weakspot thing, will test it and see again if it does because he does say it cant proc it but I used the gun for a long time and remember it popping red numbers with the overload so im gonna double check that.

Try Pride of Iskal with Bandit gear, both the hit and explosion will proc the ammo save. Mod is nice for a "fire and do something stupid" setup. But Hive Cannon is WAY better now.
I just like playing builds that have a bunch of random things that just happen to mesh with each other really well. Like really high elemental/mod dmg builds but with radiant set or osseous set
Something cool is burden of the follower, blood ring.. the one that heals you. And razor wire. If you and a friend both have this set up, you can bleed each other and enemies to heal each other constantly. Would like to see team build vids
Summoner with soul link and burden of devoted is hilarious fun. I got a friend who plays as full tank setup and he never dies. Turrets and curse of the old god tentacles heal for so much.
My build is Sniper (crit/weak spot) mixed with the Support build in this video (only elder boots for more hearts) so I stay at long range 1 shot enemies or weak spot bosses and my tank friend destroys every one and aggro them while I heal him, works very well for co-op
My most effective playstyle so far has been full on melee. Scrappers armor, Leech Ember, Root Circlet, and Twisted Idol make the perfect early game setup. Couple that with World Breaker and start swingin'!!! *if you have trouble with life gain swap the Scrappers Helmet for the Twisted Mask👌
Hey Phem, now that u are talking about build, did you make already a Pyro build? I just finished the DLC for the first time and u get like a new charm for Burning dmg and the gun that just Shot a rain of fire, so, maybe that can be a funny build
Alternator is a bit janky and the mod generation is kinda slow so it doesnt work that well but if you pair the beam rifle with the mod for fire that the scrapper class has, its very high damage but then again the bleed version is just busted....
Mod power video has that kind of thing. Lab armor And charcoal neck if you want pure fire. Id run spitfire since it's the best at add clearing, or use hive cannon and hotshot on a long gun
I really REALLY don’t give a damn about aiming being better on pc or console. I HATE the aim assist that they don’t let us turn off. I play on ps4, and having my reticle turn any amount because of something an enemy is doing is just unacceptable. It would be ok if it were an option, but there is no way to turn it off. I swear, I was aiming at an enemy behind another, a high priority target for some reason I don’t recall, and I opposed the aim assist of the enemy in front moving to a side, and I STILL turned 30 degrees away from my target.
Yeah it’s really crazy against bosses. You basically shoot the mod, then shoot a bullet, then repeat over and over. Ontop of corrosion reducing armor. Ez kills.
Every second hit you get a charge for the mod(with one ring) and you need one hit after using the mod to activate it, so its literally: 1. Mod 2. Hit to activate 3. Hit and repeat. Super strong
Well in this case its not only eye of the storm which indead does massive boss damage its also swarm which does ~ 1000dps on on top with all the damage increase from gear. So ~ 40% of the Damage you see is basically swarm in a modpower setup and the rest 60% is eye of the storm. Overall Eye of the storm maybe the best single target dps weapon in the game. you can use it with labyrinth armour or with radiant armour and a crit setup.

So i dont understand ur argument why u feel like lacking of ammo with the handgun that has the best dmg within its capacity. Dont get fooled by the tooltip, the explosions deal additional 3x the damage of it. Maybe u waste more shots than nessecary for smaller mobs since u dont wait for the explosions to trigger?
