I love the Wii! It’s takes me back during my elementary school days where everything felt new, even the older games in the virtual console. Honestly it felt like life was great during that time.
@@Soulking252 didn’t even noticed lol, I went to the dentist so I’ll still a bit loopy from the laughing gas, I’m surprised I even wrote that comment 😂
I am 22 years old, and I still remember my family getting the Nintendo Wii and playing Wii Play, the LEGO games, and Just Dance non-stop. I was heartbroken 💔 when my Wii stop functioning due to old age. But this list brings back the memories
@Andr3w_ how can a console die from old age, it doesn't make sense. I have my original Wii and a Nintendo 64 and they don't die from "old age" since they're not living things. Take care of your things and maybe then they won't stop working.
I miss my good old times playing Wii at a young age. Wii Sports, Super Mario Galaxy, Animal Crossing: City Folk, and Mario Kart Wii are my personal favourite Wii games I've ever played. I had so much fun playing those Wii games. Good memories! Animal Crossing: City Folk deserved to be on this list. The game was really great because of visiting the city, the art design, and the soundtrack.
I never forget playing Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn on the Wii. It was one of my favorite strategy games I’ve played and i still enjoy playing other games from the Franchise. Now i play Three Houses and Three Hopes and i love it!
I remember playing Wii Sports with my parents and my grandparents. We were so competitive, but we always were excited at the pure thought of enjoying some quality time together. Wii Sports literally brought so many families together and created so many fond childhood memories. I don’t believe any game has captured as many hearts (young and old) as Wii Sports and I have a hard time believing another game will come close.
I was just recently discussing the most influential games and why they were so important to the history of gaming. None of us bought up Wii Sports which was a massive over site. People who didn't play video games played the hell out of it. It was on at parties from a twelfth birthday party to wild house parties or even an 85th birthday at a retirement home.
I remember playing just dance on wii and I absolutely loved every minute playing not only that but also wii sports was another one I played constantly.
I swear I loved the Wii a lot when it came out so many games that you could have played all day from battling enemies in The Legend of Zelda to drive on a colorful road in Mario Kart.

Been into the Wii recently. Bought a Wii U and just been buying a load of classics i missed out on at wiis peak. Resident Evil 4 Wii is arguably the best version of the game, i loved it. I kinda wish i gave motion controls a real go way back instead of writing it off. I missed out on a lot.

Cool list did not expect WM to show love to games like Muramasa, Zack & Wiki and Madworld to be honest, nice! I'd order it differently myself and I would definitely swap out something like Wii Party in favour of games that were notably omitted from this list like Sin & Punishment, No More Heroes, A Boy and his Blob, Rayman Origins, Xenoblade Chronicles, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Silent Hill or Little King's Story
#20: Sonic Colors (2010) #19: Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure (2007) #18: Muramasa: The Demon Blade (2009) #17: Wario Land: Shake It! (2008) #16: Red Steel 2 (2010) #15: Kirby’s Epic Yarn (2010) #14: Madworld (2009) #13: Wii Party (2010) #12: WarioWare: Smooth Moves (2006) #11: Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (2007) #10: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (2007) #9: Punch-Out!! (2009) #8: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (2011) #7: Super Paper Mario (2007) #6: Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2008) #5: Mario Kart Wii* (2008) #4: New Super Mario Bros. Wii (2009) #3: Donkey Kong Country Returns (2010) #2: Super Mario Galaxy (2007) #1: Wii Sports (2006)
Super Smash Brothers Brawl was my first smash game and will always be my personal favorite behind Ultimate Just for introducing me to the world of Smash Brothers
Madworld is CRIMINALLY underrated. It deserves a remake at LEAST for the Switch. The awesome OST, the finniest commentators EVER, and the chainsaw arm. The CHAINSAW ARM!! God, I wanna play this game so bad.
If the Prime Trilogy as a whole is considered a Wii game then that’s a no brained for #1, In fact I would honestly say the trilogy as a whole is one of if not my absolute favorite gaming experience of all time. No other game has immersed me into its world better than Metroid Prime.
MURAMASA definitely needs a port to the Switch. I managed to get that game. It was impressive all the way. Multiple endings, over 100 different Blades to acquire. Awesome Hack N Slash ARPG, real Japanese Folklore & mythology as part of the story & places to go.
I love the Wii. It's an icon in the video game world. As is Wii Sports. When I first got the Wii, I played it a lot, and I still do whenever I have friends over Wii Sports and Super Mario Galaxy, I have to say, r like my fave Wii games
Sooooo in their Top 20 Gamecube games list they missed Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, then in this list they missed it too but included Skyward Sword? There's no way that Skyward Sword is better than Twilight Princess. No chance.
Twilight Prinsess was original developt for the gamecube first. Skyward Sword belong to the Wii. In my opinion Skyward Sword is better then Twilight Princess.
@@mattiasolsson1523 I'm well aware that TP was on Gamecube and Wii. What I'm saying is that TP wasn't acknowledged for either of those lists. I know that WatchMojo seem to do one entry per franchise, but Mario gets multiple entries all the time and Zelda doesn't?
I like my favorite absolute Wii games and yes I did play any of these on the switch like New Super Mario Bros Wii and Donkey Kong Country Returns and Super Mario Galaxy
Hard to do a list like this because the Wii is so tied to nostalgia and honestly a lot of the better games weren't played by a lot of people. Sin and Punishment Star Successor comes to mind. I do think you could've double dipped on Kirby and Mario Galaxy games, too. It is good to see both Wario games up there, though.
Super Mario Galaxy 2, No More Heroes, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess not even on the list? And yes TP came on Wii before GameCube so it definitely counts
wii sports was indeed rlly fun to play with family members. my dad fell in love with the tennis and bowling mode and we would play it every night to beat each other
I like to give Rayman Origins an honorable mention, it may not be an exclusive title but the reason why I love that game is because it’s an enjoyable 2D platforming game that made me a Rayman fan.
Top 3 (In my opinion): 1. Wii Sports 2. Super Smash Brawl 3. Mario Kart Wii The top 6 on the list is definitely Top 6 for me, but they couldn't beat these three games. It was a very tight call for 3rd spot between Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Bros Wii and Donkey Kong Country Returns. I was desperately trying to convince myself to put Donkey Kong in 3rd spot since it was the first game I've seen and played in the Donkey Kong series and it had amazing gameplay with interesting levels, tricky puzzles and cool characters, but it just barely lost to Mario kart because of the franchise known for amazing racing gameplay, new mechanics, tracks, vehicles and outstanding characters. I loved Super Smash bros Brawl, I used to play it non-stop growing up, it had so many characters to play as and the graphics looked so realistic, plus the amazing campaign tip the icing on top, the story behind it was so good, that I would like to be in that story. And Wii Sports obviously takes top spot because it was the first game on this new console to show new mechanics with motion control making it look like your actually in the game playing actual sports (I've said this before in a previous video).
My Top 9: 1) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 3) The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword 4) Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 5) PokePark: Pikachu’s Adventure 6) Michael Jackson: The Experience 7) Epic Mickey Series 8) The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Walker 9) PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond
Xenoblade Chronicles, Resident Evil 4, Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Zelda games, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Wii Sports etc. There are so many incredible games.
I had the wii from 2007-2012 and when I tell you it was my childhood. I played that thing almost everyday. The WII had a lot of great games. I had games like. Mario party 8 and 9, Super Mario galaxy 1 and 2, Pokepark 1 and 2, Super smash bros brawl, Mario strikers charged, Mario sports mix, New super mario bros wii, Lego batman, the 1st 3 Mario and sonic games, Sonic Colors, Sonic and sega all star racing, Nicktoons attack of the toybots, and Wii sports and Wii sports resort. Sadly I traded my wii for an Xbox 360 which was a huge mistake. I miss my Wii to this day. Watching the old games I used to play on the wii brings back nostalgic memories.😔
All the old Mario and Sonic games bring back SOOO many memories 😪. I remember such find memories of playing games like Super Mario Galaxy, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic and the black knight. These games were my childhood man...
The Wii has great Mario, Wario, and Kirby games, it's so hard to list them all. Donkey Kong Country Returns is so great as well. Wii Sports is what got us into the Wii in the first place, without it, we won't be playing the console.

Really hope during the next big Nintendo direct announces Wind Waker and Twilight Princess coming to the Switch.
or just announce Twilight Princess 2 ffs..
I hope so too.
#20: Sonic Colors (2010)
#19: Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure (2007)
#18: Muramasa: The Demon Blade (2009)
#17: Wario Land: Shake It! (2008)
#16: Red Steel 2 (2010)
#15: Kirby’s Epic Yarn (2010)
#14: Madworld (2009)
#13: Wii Party (2010)
#12: WarioWare: Smooth Moves (2006)
#11: Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (2007)
#10: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (2007)
#9: Punch-Out!! (2009)
#8: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (2011)
#7: Super Paper Mario (2007)
#6: Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2008)
#5: Mario Kart Wii* (2008)
#4: New Super Mario Bros. Wii (2009)
#3: Donkey Kong Country Returns (2010)
#2: Super Mario Galaxy (2007)
#1: Wii Sports (2006)
Super Smash Brothers Brawl was my first smash game and will always be my personal favorite behind Ultimate
Just for introducing me to the world of Smash Brothers
Brawl is how I got introduced to super smash bros as well.
@@christianparrish6647 Same here, Brawl was also great for it's amazing story mode.
@@LegoReader12345hello subspace emissary got me introduced to Ganondorf, which I had no idea that he was a LOZ character. Long story.
@@christianparrish6647 lol I also didn’t know who ganondorf was or even half the characters for that matter
@@LegoReader12345hello brawl got me introduced to Loz. And I didn't know the other characters either. Like pit, fox, captain falcon, Marth, etc.
Im glad The legend of Zelda Skyward Sword is here. Its still one of my favorite Zelda game today.
I am shocked they did not put Super Mario Galaxy 2 on this list. The first one was killer, but the second one was even more remarkable.
Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn was the game I played the most, I remember staying up for hours playing. Good times.
MURAMASA definitely needs a port to the Switch. I managed to get that game. It was impressive all the way. Multiple endings, over 100 different Blades to acquire. Awesome Hack N Slash ARPG, real Japanese Folklore & mythology as part of the story & places to go.
Mario Kart Wii was my childhood too
Smash Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Sonic Colors, Wii Sports, and New Super Mario Bros Wii are my favorite Wii games ⭐️
I love the Wii. It's an icon in the video game world. As is Wii Sports. When I first got the Wii, I played it a lot, and I still do whenever I have friends over
Wii Sports and Super Mario Galaxy, I have to say, r like my fave Wii games
Thanks for putting super paper Mario one of My favorite games ever
I’m sad to see that Mario party 8 wasn’t at least an honorable mention. That game holds a special place in my heart ❤️
Finally someone who acknowledges Donkey Kong Country Returns
The good old wii, it's a classic these days in nintendo.
Sooooo in their Top 20 Gamecube games list they missed Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, then in this list they missed it too but included Skyward Sword? There's no way that Skyward Sword is better than Twilight Princess. No chance.
Yeah, TP is in the top 3 Zelda’s. Watchmojo sometimes trips themselves up with list qualifications.
Top 3 (In my opinion):
1. Wii Sports
2. Super Smash Brawl
3. Mario Kart Wii
The top 6 on the list is definitely Top 6 for me, but they couldn't beat these three games.
Disappointed that the Monster hunter masterpiece doesn t get the praise it deserves.
the conduit and red steel, those were the days
2009 Little League World Series was my favorite. Just got a Wii back and have been loving the nastalga.
I remember Muramasa!! Really cool game. Wish it got more love
The only game not on here I would put is No More Heroes
Thanks for telling me its name
Donkey Kong country returns was the first 6 years of my life in a nutshell and is my favorite game ever
@Ryan Schilling No. I’m saying I personally prefer it because of nostalgia. I do think tropical freeze is a better designed game overall
Super Mario Galaxy was and remains my favorite game on the Wii for all the reasons stated in this video.
Oh man wii sports was the stuff back than I never got bored of that specially bowling 😊.
Great list of games, sad that The Last Story and wii sports resort werent included
Pokemon Battle Revolution was my personal favorite
Really? No Xenoblade Chronicles?! Its one of the best JRPGs ever made
I know what the hell?
My Top 9:
1) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
2) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
3) The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
4) Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2
5) PokePark: Pikachu’s Adventure
6) Michael Jackson: The Experience
7) Epic Mickey Series
8) The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Walker
9) PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond
Xenoblade Chronicles, Resident Evil 4, Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Zelda games, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Wii Sports etc. There are so many incredible games.
Man the nostalgie I felt while watching this video🥲
Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 have the best soundtrack of all video games
Yeah
How could No More Heroes not have made this list?
Super Mario Galaxy 2 was my favorite it was my first game
No more Heros 1 & 2 were both were great hidden gems that I still go back to play to this day.
MK, Galaxy, Bros, Epic Yarn, and Sports were the best games I played. I remember playing hours on end with my sibling on those games.
Super smash bros brawl Will always be my favorite Wii game.
The wii was my very first videogame system into gaming and wii sports was my first ever videogame man soo many memories
You forgot Mario Party 8, I have a lot of memories of that game, I miss those days.
I'll say the cool thing about Skyward Sword, Zelda and Link had surprisingly great romantic chemistry comparatively to every other game.
I’m on my Wii from misery to happiness today.
The Wii has great Mario, Wario, and Kirby games, it's so hard to list them all.
Donkey Kong Country Returns is so great as well.
Wii Sports is what got us into the Wii in the first place, without it, we won't be playing the console.
8:13 the nostalgia bro 😭😭
I also love to play Capcom games for the Wii System. Street Fighter, Mega Man, Resident Evil, Okami, Ace Attorney, you name it!

Respect Wii Sports being #1. I was one of those kids who started gaming because of it.
No love for Tatsunoko VS Capcom Ultimate All Stars? That game was pure fun, almost as fun as the first Marvel VS Capcom game.
