Zealandia refers to a mass of continental crust... not a tectonic plate...the two are not the same. Zealandia formed on the margin of Gondwanaland before the latter split up into the current day arrangement of tectonic plates and continents/oceans.
ok so I have a theory...…..the magnetic north pole is supposed to be at basically at the geographic north pole location right now according to scientists, so if the north magnetic pole is where the north geographic pole is then why Is my compass not reading that! my compass reads magnetic north to my east and google maps is based on geographic pole location it seems to me the north pole has already gone way past the geographic pole position...….my north here in nz is actually reading NE on a compass...… scary if you ask me means its sped up and has gone way past where they think it is...….. right now in NZ we are having volcanic unrest and slow slip events occurring regularly the ring of fire is on fire. comon people this is the precursor to a catastrophic event that WILL OCCUR IN OUR LIFETIME

TBH I dont think I could live in a place where everyday the ground is rumbling in a slow slip. Some of them can be very long events.

It's not supposed to be at the geographic north pole. It moves around every year by several kilometres and is currently over Canada.
