It is super hard but it does pay off when you see a patient who was pretty much crushing and burning walking out of the unit! It’s such a privilege to be by patient’s side who are in their last days as well. I finally decided to go back to school and get my NP. Hope you are able to find a job very soon. I am interested in PNP program at Columbia but they are saying on the website that they only allow full time students which is quite discouraging because I really need to work full time to support myself. You are saying that you are looking for a job position which makes me wonder if it's still possible to work full time during the program. Thanks a lot!

Yes it's possible to work during DNP! We have classes on Mon and Tues and have rest of the week free! They structure the classes so people can work during the program! And most people do work! I'm still in my first semester and everything is on zoom, so I can't really say! Hope this helped!

@@EliseChen Thats awesome im in El Paso Texas which is close to New Mexico and the university in Las cruces was thinking of providing that type of program but it didn't go through. Ive searched for those types of programs but Texas is special... they make it very difficult just to get into the program. Im still staying positive. The nursing program that you completed did it include the FNP? Or are you doing FNP at another university?
Yeah! I’m doing the FNP in the same school, it’s a seamless program that transition you straight into the DNP!
