    Would it be good to never even get injured? Pain means something is wrong, but injury keeps you from breaking everyone and everything else down!

      It would be great to never get injured! If you don't have a pain system that works, you will tend to get injured very easily. It's the pain system that protects you.

      @@adelaidewestphysio No, I meant that somebody would mangle or break whatever is supposed to cause damage. (For example, a sharp weapon would get badly bent rather than poke and make someone bleed because that person would have 200% armor for flesh.)

      ​@@cbsteffen I'm not sure I'm quite on the same wavelength to be honest! Armor like that would severely impair our ability to do human things. There's a tradeoff I guess. We have a pretty good alarm system involving vision, hearing, smell, touch and our pain system, immune system etc that does OK most of the time
