I grew up in Stoke-on-Trent in the 1970s/80s & it's tragic to see what has become of Hanley: it's like a bloody bombsite these days! I went back around the town on the 23rd of September, five days after you filmed this & it's a shocker compared to its past. Keep up the good work of the Stoke videos. There are loads of police about because of the amount of drug dealing that goes on in plain sight on the streets of Hanley, it's the Monkey Dust capital of the UK!
Hanley Pottery Museum is really one of the few places i like about Dump On Trent. It is a great museum especially as you have said the lovely spitfire inside. Just hope some of the old exhibits are still there such as the chipshop exhibit. Is it possible you could make a video about Hanley Museum maybe be a bit sneakey and sneak your camera around some of the old exhibits ;) :P
@@Riley_X3 Might be an idea to use a mobile phone than a full filming camera to record footage if you have descent quality resolution with it. A mobile phone will be less obvious when you are recording footage. Just a thought anyway, its up to you. Thank you anyway :)
I know every inch of those streets, Hanley was cool back in the day. Born in Newcastle in 1960. Been living in Malta for 15 years. I will never, ever go back. 🙂
