I watched about 30 videos trying to really see the colors to make a decision and this one is by far the best one of them all! Thank you so much!
i know. this is an important decision (my white note 10+ has been with me for 5 years now!). i dont understand why almost every review rushes through it like it's nothing or shows in bad lighting. 🤷🏼♂️

"purple" is nice but not sure if i like the side rail color with that. esp when it looks gold-ish.
black is nice and consistent.
titanium grey i dont "understand" because it keeps changing shades and tones depending on light conditions. i joked to someone that grey shows all 50 shades of it 😁 ... i dont think they liked the joke 😅
@DrNauseous I think I'm going purple for the ultra. The black isn't really black enough for my liking, just looks like dark gray which I'm not a fan of.
Also the purple is unique.

I already decided and its Galaxy S24+ Cobalt Violet for me. Looks refreshing and unique in some ways 😄
Thank you so much for this video! it was very helpful. I would only add that showing clips of the phones under artifical light and then direct sun would've been great to see how the color changes under direct lighting.

I bought the regular S22 in website exclusive Graphite and LOVE IT. Not thrilled about the S24 Ultra colors. Was hoping for graphite again since the S23 Ultra had it. Video helpful, but still hard to tell if the new Titanium Black is "close" to the Graphite or way off. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate the info!

Ordered a S24+ Sapphire Blue yesterday. Its a Samsung website exclusive, was thinking about the Orange one but I decided to go with blue would be less hard to sell. (For phone I usually keep them 3 years)
I agree @mlachance001. I have pre-ordered S24 in Sapphire Blue (unique color) and S24+ in Onyx Black (looks graphite). Also would consider orange.
I got the S24 based model, color Jade green. it's look more like apple green. Love it.
Great video! I was wondering how Onyx Black looks like live as I couldn't find it exhibited, only found it as an example of colors in one mobile shop. It looked graphite grey when I was turning the swatch under the light but when I looked at it straight, looked more black.
Very helpful seeing the color differences on the S24/S24+ in this video. Originally I wanted to go with the marble grey but after seeing it held next to your ear, it appears to be very white. I have now made my decision to go with the Onyx black being that it appears to be a dark grey and not as black as the name suggests it to be. YOSH
Hbout cobalt violet on s24?
Honestly I like that color alot on the s24/s24+ being that purple pallet is one of my favorites. I would have gone with the cobalt violet but I want something different than I normally would get.

I bought from phone store and couldn't get the orange but that was my 1st choice. So I went with yellow and I love it !
Thank you for doing this breakdown. Would you call the 24 ultra yellow, a gold? Looks like it on video. I can't tell if it's girly, cream looking yellow or more of a gold, unisex color.

If it helps, I ordered this up for my GF. Yes, it's more for a girl whereas the yellow S24 might be more unisex as it's far lighter. The S24Ultra on yellow is very light gold with a mix of metallic on sides and a yellow cream on back.

would be nice if you could do a showcase for the Exclusive colours. Those at least have more vibrancy, and the Aluminium railing looks better there.

Well, I ended up cancelling my order because I'm reading way too many horror stories about the Samsung Trade In process. I really want this but I'm too worried Samsung is going to renig on my trade in or tell me my device is damaged when it's not or tell me the phone is missing when it's not and then send me back a damaged device. I'd go through Best Buy but of course Samsung doesn't offer the same sort of price if you buy through Best Buy even though the trade in process is safer. So, I will not be pre ordering after all and I'm actually thinking I'm gonna hold off until the Ultra S25.

Really incredible coincidence: My Galaxy S7's black color is named Black Onyx, and the Galaxy S24's black color, which I was thinking of upgrading to in the next couple months, is named Onyx Black!

I ordered a Black Ultra. After this video I wish I had gone Violet. Not that it really matters - - I always use a case. 😂
I've seen these phones in person and I am going 24 Ultra's in grey and yellow for me and my GF and 24+ in grey for Mum. Just be aware that the yellow in the 24 Ultra is great for a girl but not so much for a guy due to the gold frame and whilst it's on the cream side of things, the rear is definitely in the yellow family.
The Titanium blue is so beautiful 😍
I just can not see even with trade in paying 750 bucks for the 24u. Nice yes but my S21 ultra is still a wonderful phone. Beautiful qhd display and plenty fast for everything i do. UI 6 is great and still got updates for 2 years at least. ❤

Cool. I got the same phone for a bit more than that, but still far less than what it originally cost. I've been pondering whether I should upgrade to the S24 Plus specifically, but I may just hold on to the S21 Ultra for at least one more year.

I Preordered the Yellow Ultra! I would have gotten the violet, but i find it to be way too dark and more resembling a dark gray and not purple!
It's goldish on sides so be aware of this (if you're a guy).

Me current phone is the s23 graphite color such is dark grey.. I love this color.. and that onys black looks exactly the same .. I was thinking to get the grey but you're right look like more white .. I'll get the onys black is.. beautiful looks more like blue grey 🤩

I bought the S23 Ultra last year and didn't use it because of the size. I kept it to trade it in for the S24 Plus. I love slimmer phones than boxy ones but unfortunately our North American companies are giving us boxy phones

warranty basically nil as told to me by a samsung customer complaints manager. Soon as its touched n goes in ur pocket gets any slight graze, scuff, line they wont honour warranty repair. Even tho repair was manufacturing defects/bad design/poor quality and despite them admitting it had no marks or anything that would have caused damage or broken seals or effect structural integrity
I got the Titanium Gray. just out of this color.

All colors are very nice way better then the colors apple orders on there pro models
This year's colors are a huge let down. Don't make your mistake - black is not black, there is no pure white and being fan of the pastel colors, I miss the levander color too. Hence went with the Sapphire Blue. But beware - it has absolutly nothing in common with what you can see in an online images - it is almost white, but not white, nor blue. Not knowing the model, you would barely notice it has blue tones.

I don't know what kind of design school dropouts are working at Samsung, but the "violette" S24 Ultra looks absolutely horrible. Such a dark violette back just doesn't mix well together with those titanium coloured rails. They should've made the rails violette as well or at least black. Black rails would look good to. The violette S24 Ultra looks to me like it's a manufacturing error. Like someone put the wrong back panel on. It's an eyesore and a crime against anyone that has basic knowledge about product design.
What can't you drop saying 'Galaxy' every time you mention these phones? So annoying

I feel you. I just got my S21 ultra. Paid 345 in excellent condition. I got a 998w. Canadian model. Omg i love this phone. Upgraded from a S20fe. Big upgrade from it to this. UI 6 is wonderful.

@@avasd59 actually, yeah, my bad, I take that back. At some point I was itching to see how the different colors look, and this video became insightful. It just felt silly at the time, new devices were announced but they were focusing on the colors. I see the error of my ways now.
