    Awesome little vid mate. I know what u mean re the drone. U did a great job on it tho. Don’t need much footage but u got enough to capture the steepness and size of the falls and surrounding area. I didn’t have the balls to put my mini up over Conglomerate Falls at Bruce’s Gorge in the VHC. I regret it as it would have looked incredible. Just an excuse to get back out there I guess. Keep up the great vid mate!!

    • @aguyandhistroopy
      @aguyandhistroopy  Год назад +1

      Thanks Adam, yeah… I wasn’t going to risk it to much, but was happy with what I managed to get.
      I flew it at Little River Gorge near McKillops Bridge the other day, that’s was scary, Vic’s deepest gorge at 500mts deep. 🤦🏽

    • @endless4x4
      @endless4x4 Год назад +1

      @@aguyandhistroopy yeah mate u make that decision that if it drops it’s it. Time for a new drone! But it can be so worth it. On the smaller drones the wind can catch them and in those gorges anything can happen. Keep the content coming bud.

    I’m in the same boat with the cameras. I’ve been looking at the Canon 90d, quality cameras aren’t cheap but I’m thinking of going second hand.

    • @aguyandhistroopy
      @aguyandhistroopy  Год назад +1

      My choice was a cheaper camera, Sony ZV-E10 mirror less camera, mainly for vlogging but you can interchange the lens. Just be good for around camp, close ups etc.
      it’s just the hassle of taking it everywhere with you.

  • @The_Travelling_Jonoberries
    @The_Travelling_Jonoberries Год назад +2

    Not a bad walking track Gav, certainly heaps of regrowth in the area, GOPros are good but a new Canon camera set up would set you back around $6k 😮- May need to set up a Patreon account to cover your costs and increase subscribers? Depends on how far you want to go buddy. Take care be safe and keep the fantastic content coming, beautiful country up there and you never know how much longer you will have there with potential Park closures due to the new government policies with land access

    • @aguyandhistroopy
      @aguyandhistroopy  Год назад +1

      Thanks Brad, I’m in it for the long haul, but I can’t justify that sort of money at the moment. Don’t want it have it drag it around on the tracks etc. Was looking at a smaller vlogging camera, just for out of focus shots, around the campfire etc.
      Most of the tracks are shut up here shit most of the year remains und already, it won’t be long I reckon till it’s all shut down mate.
