    I always am amazed at how dedicated New Zealanders are to performing the Haka at sporting events. It just shows their pride in their Māori heritage.

      Not just sporting events, it is done at weddings, funerals, graduations and other important events to show respect.

    Absolutely love this! I have always thoroughly enjoyed watching the Haka. It has always really moved me.

    I'm so saddened by the racist comments in this thread. I love the culture of tangata whenua Maori, I love te reo, I love haka in all its forms. I think Haka an intoxicating, moving and powerful artform and cultural expression which needs to be supported.

    Im from Germany. I did a Haka once with our Aroha sport group. It was amazing. Goosebumps. It seems as if the whole sport hall was vibrating and full of energy in the silents after the haka. no one moves. everybody was so touched. What a great experience.!

    Let me completely disregard the comments that are full of prejudices below. This is magnificent, especially that I see Maori and Non-Maori chanting with one voice to greet their fellow athletes. I only know of New Zealand that has built up such a team culture, a sport culture.
