I enjoyed this video finally finished it lol had to rip it out twice lol
Thank you Raine for your fantastic teaching videos of these lovely doilies. I live in Perth, West Aus and I have made the tulip doiley in the Dutch national colour of orange for an old school friend who has cancer (in remission thank Heaven) and now this lovely one. I'm 79 and it's been wonderful to be able to revisit an old skill.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad to hear the Tulip doily made a nice gift for your friend! I hope you like the other doilies as well! Happy crocheting!
Thank you so much, such a wonderful Doily and so easy to follow you that even a new beginner as me can do.

Thank you too!
Very Beautiful!😄
Thank you! 😊
I love your tutorials and have made three different doilies so far. I just want to point out that in this one at round 11, you say to chain 3 and single crochet into the 4 chain space. When in fact round ten said to make a 3 chain space. Although I knew what you meant, I did have to spend a bit of time double checking if I had made a mistake. 🌺
Beautiful! Love it. I made one of victory red color. Thank you!
Sounds great! Thank you for sharing and you're most welcome too!
Beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful 👌👏🥰

So pretty! I have never made a doily but my mom used to make them. I will have to give it a try! Thank you for sharing!🐰🐰
Have fun!
Tysm for sharing your beautiful patterns.
I have just subscribed to your blog and RUclips.
Could I please ask how much cotton is needed?
I love that you state size early on, because this as well as materials, decide for me, what I can try to make.
Take care of yourself 💅
Welcome to my channel!😊 Thank you for subscribing and happy crocheting! I don't remember exact amount but my thread has 350 yards in one ball and one ball is enough.
@@handmadebyraine thanks so much for your response and for sharing your beautiful work 💅
Hello,
Round 23, the total chain spaces must be 112, correct? But if we add that extra one in the begginning, do we not end up with 113 since 14 x 8 is 112? Please correct me if I'm thinking wrong
I'm sorry I have given away my Valentine and I can't count these spaces but next time I will crochet this one, I will count and let you know. As long as the last 2 rounds work out, you are fine.
I made 13 dc in row13 and I row 15 it don't work out we have 12 spaces so where is the middle please help.
Row 14 puts two dc ch in the 7th dc
How can this be increased to approx 34" round?
Hi Colleen, please feel free to experiment with bigger thread or yarn and hook.
May I know the quantity of thread in grams it required to make the doily?
Aunt Lydia's thread size 10 has 350yd/320m in one ball, they don't specify grams, but I used I think about 300 yards.
