- This is definitely one of my worst videos imho, I needed to go into more depth with the Kaufmann sidequest and I'm awfully quiet, but I do hope it was helpful in some way. This video is part of a 100% Silent Hill guide that you can check out below. In that walkthrough I collect every single item in the game, with the exception of the extra items which are given their own video. An unlockables guide and a 10 star guide are also provided in the walkthrough. I've also done walkthroughs of Silent Hill 2, 3, and 4 as well, all with 10 star videos and extras videos provided. This video is skyrocketing in views (well, for my standards at least) due to recent Silent Hill news and rumors so I guess I should apologize for how absurdly quiet I am in this video lol. Also in retrospect I should have gone over the Kaufmann sidequest in more detail.

I just finished this game (completely blind) and somehow I got the good ending. Was pretty pleased with myself.

I'm so pissed off that there''re no clues about these Kaufmann's related actions, since I got the bad ending for that. I was so concentraed even still I couldn't know about it
Thanks. I got the regular bad ending. Kind of annoying as I did collect the sample in the plastic bottle. I just didn’t know where to use it

@@RuminInLove whos blood it is? And why does it cured cybil? As far as I remembered, it didnt explained in the game.
@@gazzgaspay4841 It's not blood, it's aglaophotis. And it is explained in the game, since Kaufmann uses it in certain endings to demonstrate its use. Aglaophotis can dispel evil forces from a host.

im pretty sure everyone gets the bad ending in their first playthrough and then either instantly play again or think fuck that im happy watching others do it 😅

I remember watching the old Jordan Underneath and Caddicarus video on this game, so sadly I knew about parts of the story, plot twists and scares. I got the BAD+ end. The reason I scooped up the unknown red liquid was because I knew there was a puzzle solved by pouring blood (tentacle puzzle), but also knew that the cop could be cured somehow. I guess I wouldn’t have learned about this game if it weren’t for those videos though. Still, this game scared me more than any other, and that’s not saying much because I only played like half a dozen actual horror games… Thank you for this video. I might rewind to the resort area to finish the side quest and get the best normal mode ending.

Also, just a fun trivia, if you search online, there is a hidden gem from the interaction with Dr. Kaufmann. The part was actually voiced by Harry but was removed in the game, and all we got was just subtitles.
You got this, that green hyper blaster is as good as yours already :) And to add to that fact, it was voiced in the trade demo of all things.

Kaufman side quest isn't necessary for ufo ending.

I've just beaten the game once and got the - bad ending lol. I know that if u go to the final boss with no ammo it will spare ur life and kill itself. But the question is can u do that and still get the +good elding? Cool video btw.
Yes, you can still get the Good+ ending if you use that strat for the final boss :)

Now the HD collection is on sale on xbox for Halloween and im gonna buy it ( I know it's not the proper way to experience the games but I have no other way to do it). So I literally just started a new playthrough to get in context for SH3. But I plan to get the +good ending this time.

Duckstation- An emulator that let's you upscale. Be warned I only did this for the video, trying to beat the game upscaled like this will result in various crashes and make the game unfinishable.

This is amazing video thank you so much. I just completed the game for the first time and I was like WTF cause I did not even find the Kaufman stuff at all it sounds like I ran right passed it. I did save Cybil so at least I got the Bad +. Sorry I am sure you do not give a fuck. Great work SUB/LIKE.

Silent Hill 2 might change your ending if you take too much damage from enemies, but killing enemies doesn't effect it.

That’s in silent hill 3 but you always get one ending on your first playthrough no matter what.
How do you get the kaufman key?
Go into Annie's Bar (its location is pinpointed on the resort area map) and after the cutscene with Kaufmann you should find it next to one of the pool tables.
what emulator are u using?
