My Gen3 23C is one of my favorites. I bought it back in 2000 and still own it. I used to carry it, and it was my bedside gun for many years. Firing it in low light can be a distraction. The flash coming out of the ports is noticeable. Swapping to a standard 23 barrel is an option, and that's what I've done to shoot shot shells. Now I carry a Gen5 23 and love it.
I love the .40 S&W cartridge. I just prefer to run .40 in the G35 platform. In the 35, 40 cal is not even snappy(10:38). Recoil is very flat & very quick. Stays "on target" very well(at least mine does). But I would not employ a G35 as a carry weapon. With a bright weapon light, I prefer it in the role of Home Def. I ain’t even know there was a G23C. I knew about the G19C & the G17C. I like the compensated Glocks. Don’t own any. Mainly because they not gen 5 models. If Glock released a gen 5 C model I’d definitely cop me one. Awesome fit & great video.
I dont think know if they're rare because I acquired this extact one pretty easily from Bud's a few months back but now that I've doubled back they're sold out.
