Awesome show guys!!! I have to say that most of this show really resonated with me. There are so many positive things that this hobby brings to the table, if you give it an chance. One thing that I see that this hobby does well is the comradery it creates. Being a new/old person in the hobby I have a lot of questions and everyone that I spoke with at Madness are more than happy to help me. Not just the crew at RC Madness but the fellow hobbyists as well, which I feel is the couture the Madness crew has cultivated to perfection. I also whole heartly agree that many things we learn in the hobby carry over to "real life", many times without realizing it.
this shop is almost an hour and half from me. since i started going 2-3 months ago i have been there less than a dozen times (more like half a dozen times) but when i do there is ALWAYS people i see regularly and even a few i talk to when i see them. there was a hobby shop in a town i lived in 12 years ago. i would go there probably 5 times a week. i became friends with a number of people both customers and employees. its been 12 years and a different hobby shop 60 miles away but i can tell the same thing is already happening. no matter where you go it will always be the same and i love the fact i can count on that.
