True, it is a generalisation, but it is the historic case that young people are typically indoctrinated into an ideology to expand and further the ‘base’ both numerically and philosophically. But then again the opposite can be true - it isn’t a universal rule, and does depend on specific ages, maturity and education levels, etc.
