A little fun fact I noticed recently is that skybound lloyd doesn't come with both the hood and armor together in any set. Would love to see a review of Jay's elemental dragon, as it's my favorite ninjago set. Great review!
I really like these throwback reviews! I became a ninjago fan since the movie so i missed some amazing sets before 2016 and i really like to take a look at them. Please review more possesion sets because i really like that wave even thought i dont have any set in my collection. Great review!
I got this set for my birthday a long time ago. This set is just beautiful. Watching the video I realized that I built my set wrong, the wings instead of turning up they turn down. I'm fixing it rn😂
that Lloyd's side build reminds me of the Exo-Firce set 8106: Aero Booster - it has a ridiculously small mech, and attached to it a ridiculously large booster.
Instead of making some stupid big flyer they could have made 3 jetpacks or gliders for the ninja to ride or alernately wear aposed to the sword holders
I do think this set is a good recreation of the one in the show, even if it’s smaller and lacks the actual steering wheel, and lacking interior space besides the runway.

Set 9456, Spinner battle arena. I remember always thinking that was so cool from books and stuff. I was finally able to get it a few years ago!

This has got to be one of my favourite ninjago sets of all time! Very unique and cool ship!
To be honest it’s cool to get Kai in the set but I would’ve preferred Ghost Cole and Deepstone Nya in the place of Kai just to be more show accurate

I was really happy to get this set back in 2016, but I ended up completely redesigning it along with the rest of the fleet

The sky bound suits were some of the best
the pieces that should be storded in the boxes were two canon pieces... I also lost them lmao
I miss villain vehicles in Ninjago
We do have villain vehicles(if you count dragons or creatures), it’s just rare nowadays.
If this came out today it would prolly be $120. Different time

I'm pretty sure there was never a normal version of Lloyd in the skybound wave cause in other sets he didn't get the armor piece
My biggest flex is that I got all the wave 1 skybound sets when they first came out for my bday
I never got this set when it was out and I regret it to this day
Fun fact and definitely not fake: at 8:25 the Pirates actually made that build and made the blades point in so they can stab Lloyd

The Lloyd vehicle in this set is so bad.
Yeah. I usually don’t mind oversized gliders, but the here is built horizontally, not vertically. It just looks way too oversized in that angle.

I think this set is meh just because of how inaccurate it is but brick legends did a really good moc of this and minifigures are awesome
