I get the hype ab temple of airjitzu, but final flight of destiny’s bounty was revolutionary. Not only was it the bounty’s revival after 3 years, we got debut of ninja Nya, exclusive morro, AND awesome mini dragon side build. The colour scheme of possession was so great, I reaaaaally hope legacy comes back with some sets for the 10th anniversary !!!

Bro I have been searching for the temple of airjitzu and the samurai X cave since 2021, and the samurai x cave is nearly impossible to find sealed in Australia.
Ooof I forgot some sets are harder to find outside America. Although those sets are definitely worth it.

I have the fire temple. It was so fun to build and its looking so great! The minifigs are also great
Great Picks! Although I do personally think that Misfortunes Keep and The Ultra Stealth Raider are the best sets of their respective waves. Misfortunes Keep is such a unique build and Ultra Stealth Raider has a really desirable figure selection with Yang, Chen and All the DOTD Ninja. Great video nevertheless!
Seabound, The Island, Possession, Sons of Garmadon, Hunted, Master of the Mountains, Prime Empire, and Crystalized had the best sets imo
Rebooted is from my childhood and I only got one set back then, the cole vs nindroid copter, but my cousin got the mechadragon and I was so jealous

For the pilot season, The fire temple is good but I like the Garmadon's dark fortress better, as I own it and I must say, it's an amazing set.

@@pythfennYT Same 😐 Oh and i have the Epic Dragon Battle in person and its very bulky and the heads don’t have much room to move, so if you can help it, don’t buy a really expensive one. 😅 But (just to be clear) it’s not a bad set at all!

The enter the serpent set was the first ninjago set i got, unfortunatly it is broken and i lost most of the pieces and minifigures
Did you know that the show came out in 2011 and I was born in 2010 I saw it on cartoon network once and could never stop watching it also my favorite sets that I never got becuse it went out of stock everywhere was the og Kai car is season three
I loved the hands of time dragons forge the most I'm just disappointed i never got to buy it the face prints on kai and nya is what i was interested in and also their parents lastly the dragons rising minifigs i really want Bonzle i wish she was added on Arin's Ninja off road buggy car

what i love about earlier sets is that you can really feel the love for the show the designers had. nowadays, we wont ever get minifigures like the snakes generals as they are just side vilains. it really feels more like the set selling is more important to them than show accuracy and fan liking. but undoubtedly, the best ninjago wave of the video has to be ninjago day of the departed. it felt like ninjago legacy before ninjago legacy. a way better vilain throwback than crystalized due to the reason of their comeback (day of the departed resurected defeated/dead vilains while crystalized made the overlord hire still alive vilains). but overrall i feel like ninjago is that one them that never really disappoints in an entire wave unlike some lego city, lego jurassic world, lego hidden side or lego minecraft i could name 👀(btw im sorry if im sometimes hours late to a video i live in canada 😭) (also will you do temple of airjitzu wednesday brick click ?)
I agree, the day of the departed wave is so good because of those reasons, the ninja's suits rock and the villains they brought back were awesome, unlike crystalized. Don't get me wrong but vangellis, aspheera, mr e and the mechanic just aren't as great as cryptor, kozu, morro and samukai and chen. Those it was great to see my boi pythor return in both. And the next brick click will be yet another speed champions set as I bought a few at once and am currently working my way through them, as for the temple of airjitzu, you'll have to wait and see 😉
I even own the original 2012 LEGO Ninjago Epic Dragon Battle that I bought from Bricks and Minifigs.
I had the temple from season 6, but I was an dumb child and it is now destoyed :(

Here's my list:
Pilot: Garmadon's Dark Fortress. Villain lairs have always appealed to me because, aside from being action set pieces, the villains also need a place to hang out lol. But I think Fire Temple is objectively a better set.
Season 1: I agree with your pick, although I kinda wish Ultra Dragon and Great Devourer would've been two separate sets. That way Great Devourer could have an entire set's budget to itself, meaning it could've been made way larger. My personal favourite is Ultra Sonic Raider though because you get the four Ninja, Pythor, and the Golden weapons all in one set!
Season 2: I agree fully. And it could have just been my Garmatron, but the treads would get caught on something and start pulling itself apart. Maybe I built it wrong though lol.
Season 3: Battle for Ninjago City, same reasons as you, and I also got it for my birthday!
Season 4: Ninja DBX, partly because I found one brand new on eBay in 2017 for $40 which was a steal! Enter the Serpent is a great set too.
Season 5: The price of Temple of Airjitsu kind of detracts my enjoyment of it. I don't think it's big enough to warrant that price point. Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon is half the price but it's similar in size. If it would've been closer to $150, then I'd feel the value was a bit better. My pick is Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty, it's a much needed upgrade from the Pilot's version and the play features are great. The included minifigures are a bit on the weaker side though.
Season 6: I agree with Lighthouse Siege. Green NRG Dragon is my personal favourite, it's just such an awesome dragon.
Day of the Departed: Samurai X Cave Chaos is second because it's a little bland as far as play features, but it's great to finally have a set of it after seeing it in Rebooted. Minifigures are all top tier though. Ultra Stealth Raider is my top DotD set because it houses the 4 Ninja inside the vehicle, which means all 6 Ninja can have some place to sit on the vehicle. And its treads now roll on smooth surfaces due to those rubber add on pieces.
I love your choices and I agree with a lot of your points, the final flight of the bounty looks so cool to me with the big round dish in the middle of the sails that fold out, and the ultra sonic and stealth raiders are so cool. I also love how all 3 versions of the raider have had all 4 OG ninja. And the temple of airjitzu was probably fairly priced upon release but inflation has made that set crazy expensive now sadly. Anyway thank you for the comment!

I think you should put big ninjago sets like temple of airjitzu, ninjago city gardens, ninjago city market etc. in a different category because they would overshadow other sets from the same wave. Also isn't lighthouse siege is from day of the departed wave?
The lighthouse siege released at the same time as day of the departed but that as well as the kryptarium prison breakout and Lloyd's nrg dragon are skybpund sets as indicated by the pirate flag on the boxes.
Its crazy to realize that ninjago has been going on for 13 years and will for another 5 years at least, and bionicle got cancelled after 9... Anyway i always wanted the sonic raider(the old one, the new one looks ass), ninjacopter, or the morro dragon, those were so cool. Also i kinda feel like you mostly just pick the expensive sets, but i suppose they are expensive for a reason.

This might be an odd question but do you happen to have any extra Kai minifigures I could like buy or something?
Sadly no, I like to keep all my figures, though if you would like singular figures and such I would reccomend bricklink or visiting local lego conventions.
