Nadi Airport, located in the tropical well-known island of Fiji, is the main airport serving Fiji. Fiji is a beautiful island, which is a very popular tourist destination for holiday goers from around the world. Fiji is known for its beautiful blue oceans, warm weather, awesome food, and incredible culture.
Nadi Airport is an awesome airport for plane spotting! Nadi really only gets its traffic from airlines in Oceania, mostly its own national carrier Fiji Airways, as well as lot of traffic from Australia and New Zealand. Some other cool airlines fly here too, such as Air Vanuatu and Fly Solomons, both featured in this video! Nadi is surrounded by beautiful tropical trees and bushland, with some big swamps surrounding too! With its Oceanic traffic, and amazing weather, it is one interesting and incredible place to planespot, definitely one to tick off the bucket list!

Forgive my ignorance, but how in the world are such large airliners taking off and landing at such a scenic and seemingly non-existent airport? Where are the gates??
There’s only 5 gates, and planes from Australia and Nz come during the day, and the American and etc come during midnight so the airport usually looks empty lol
The shots are taken at the takeoff and landing points. The gates are at the terminal building about 3 miles away.

That airport was built before World War II. The gates are not on the runway. 😄 Also Fiji is a major tourist hub in the Pacific.
