- Bula Vinaka everyone! Fiji is my last stop in the South Pacific. I flew on Fiji Airways Airbus A350 from Sydney to Nadi. The island charm of Fiji started when I step inside Fiji Airways. I was on Fiji Time! Take a look at Fiji Airways new A350 product, meals, and services.
The next morning, I traveled domestically from Nadi to Savusavu on a Fiji Link Twin Otter flight. Savusavu is located on the Island of Vanua Levu which has a short landing strip and it is a captain’s landing-only airport. The 1-hour scenic flight allows me to see Fiji from above. Watch the video for the exciting landing there.
During my stay in Fiji, I also visited the Sigatoka River safari and went to a local Fijian village to learn about their culture. Lastly, I visited the recently opened Fiji Airways Aviation Academy. I met with trainees of Fiji Airways on safety training and flew a flight simulator.
Please be aware of scammers using my name claiming you've won a prize from a giveaway and ask money for shipping. I have reported these to RUclips but the scammers continue to create new account on YT. Pls report these scams if they reply to your comment.

My First trip to sea in 1975 on the MV Willowbank, took me from Liverpool, London and other European Ports via the Panama Canal to, Tahiti,Samoa, Tonga, British Solomons, New Hebrides, Bougainville, New Guinea, New Ireland, New Caledonia. On later trips i got to Hawaii, Pago Pago, Fiji, Western Samoa.
On one ship the crew were from Fiji they were great blokes, hope you did not drink too much Kava only a small amount numbs your tongue.
Love your visits to the islands brings back many memories, in my time at sea i visited 76 Countries and 268 ports, including a few in New Zealand, and all the Middle East Countries, hoping to revisit Dubai someday.
Sam as one born and brought up in Fiji, there’s no truer saying than you can take the girl out of the island, but you can’t take the island out of the girl. I encourage you to take a holiday there and go also to one of the outer islands….it is heaven on earth noqu Viti. ❤️
Another great video that illustrates an important point: Cabin Crew are not your bartender or waiter, they are for your SAFETY. They are highly trained and dedicated professionals! Respect! ✈✈✈

I go to Fiji on vacation frequently and I can agree to this video. The people of Fiji and Fiji airways is great! But I swear I see the same cabin crew every time I go on a flight..
I'm sold! I've been secretly planning a trip to Australia for my lady. This just sold me on hitting the islands while we are there. The crew appear really well trained and very personable. Thank you! @@abdullahjacques2915 I think what Marc meant was that he was planning a Trip to Australia but this video has inspired him to include a stopover in Fiji because they are Geographically close. I'm assuming its how some people put New Zealand in their Australia holiday because they're down in that part of the world anyway.

Damn watching this makes me wanna go back to FIJI, we've just arrived from our holiday in Fiji at Tanoa International Hotel and we absolutely love it! FIJI AIRWAYS was amazing smooth flight and staff were lovely and very friendly. Were definitely go back to Fiji my kids enjoy it so much they didn't wanna come back to Sydney. One of my first flights was as a 3-year-old in 1969 on Fiji Airways, before the name changed to Air Pacific, and then back to Fiji Airways again. The aircraft I flew on was a Hawker Siddeley 748 turboprop, and the route was Nadi, Fiji to Luganville Santo in the New Hebrides, landing on a former WW2 airfield built for American bombers in the Pacific war, which is no longer being used. The name of the destination country changed from New Hebrides to Vanuatu in 1980 when the locals got their independence.

May be slightly off-topic. Sam! if possible, please speak up for passengers who are not given any hotel stays or meals by many airlines nowadays despite clear rules from global aviation bodies for passenger facilitation. Passengers are laying down in airports for 10 20 hours waiting to catch their next flights in Dubai, Qatar, Istanbul, LHR, CDG, and many other airports around the world.

The flight attendant with the beautiful hair was on our Fiji Airways A330 flight from Nada back to Sydney yesterday.
Very friendly and accommodating.
And, Fabulous Freddie was also our Jetboat captain up the river to the villages.

She did such a wonderful job, not timid, calm but very loud and clear with her directions and orders. In the event of an emergency she’s definitely someone that would take lead and initiate bringing everyone to safety.

The thing I hated most about those damn masks was that I couldn't see peoples' marvelous smiles. Fiji has grown exponentially since I was there in 1976 (46 years ago).
Flew Fiji airways for the first time in May with friends. Ever since i've been converted. Will always fly Fiji from West coast to Australia now, the product is great and the service is even better.
