This was not booked via Fiji Airways, it was a QANTAS Frequent Flyer rewards fare. At the time of this flight FJ had a weight policy but this has now been changed to a piece policy. I think it depends on how big the personal item is...but yes I had cabin baggage and a small extra piece and they were not strict about this.
I’m confused - you posted this in late November, but are wishing the crew a happy new year! When did you actually fly? BTW, Fiji Airways was the name of the airline when the A330s were first delivered; in fact, the ushered in the new branding.

hi! is your fare type “LITE”? was the airlines strict about the baggage? am i allowed to carry a cabin luggage and a personal item?
