The A380 looks nice. I'll be flying back to Sydney from San Francisco 26th Jan on a 777. I've only flown twice in my life, and now i'll be on 6 flights overall on my first international trip. I hope they all go as smooth as this. Though the planes will probably be fuller in January...
I flew on Qantas too a week before yours (5 May 2023), from Brisbane to Singapore. It was great and I booked the vegetarian meals. It was ok. Other wife and son took the regular (non-vegetarian) meals which was better 😅.
That first "ding" after takeoff is supposedly to tell the Flight Crew it is 5 minutes until drinks time. lol I did not know that. The earlier the better. Ding!
Super busy so late at night. We have a departure time of 10.00 p.m on July 24 2024, so i guess we look forward to the same as you've experienced. Thanks for sharing!
Nice vid! LAX traffic is a nightmare not for the faint of heart 😅 Next time if that happens just keep going to your terminal’s arrivals and take the elevator up, at least this is the case with TBIT. Happy flying ✈️✈️
Worst flight ever LAX to Sydney. 15.5 hours in a meat locker. It was so cold even with extra clothing and blankets. Next day sinus infection and 102 fever. Never again.
Qantas is one of the most disappointing airlines I've ever flown. Slapdash service with a sneer by cabin crew who clearly loathe their job. The food is revolting and the bathrooms never serviced. All up a horrible experience. If there is an alternative carrier then take it! Never again for me.
I haven't flown internationally in 30 years (last flight IBERIA Tenerife to London + QANTAS London to Sydney December 1994). I was expecting the inside of aeroplanes to look much more updated and snazzy. The interior of this plane here looks revolting. Planes 30 years ago looked much better than this pile of junk. I can't believe how flimsy and second rate looking the seats have become. The interior looks like it's third world level. What a disappointment.
Benn flying with Qantas international for four years. Nothing you say can be more far from the truth. The food is amazing and the service is fantastic!
The people are so quiet and respectful and i love this self service Snack and Drink Bar its way easier I think
