How are these helmets performing better than the new British and American aramid ballistic helmets? The shell deformation on those military-issued designs tested with the same ammunition showed here are undoubtedly fatal to receive, what’s going on? 🤷♂️
Didn't see the tests on the new aramid helmets but i saw some tests on the HDPE helmets - High Densitiy PolyEthylene is stronger and better at stopping bullets than aramid fibers but the biggest problem with it is that it doesn't bond well with any glues or by itself. So when a bullet hits it, layers tend to delaminate easier thus creating bigger deformation. Maybe the key would be an outer shell made from HDPE and inner shell from aramid fibers - but that would also be quite expensive to produce
@@PolenarTactical Garand Thumb made a video 9 months ago testing the U.S. army’s new IHPS helmet and the deformations that resulted from standard pistol calibers is pretty staggering compared to the company that produces these helmets y’all showcased, this Chinese company y’all partnered with is quite impressive. Thank you for the response and input, I didn’t know HDPE was a stronger material.
@@Tax_Collector01 HDPE is currently the lightest, strongest and cheapest material to produce. I got this helmet and it's actually pretty good, cheap, a bit heavy but it protect your head well all for $20. Although it's a bit uncomfortable to wear for a long time
I bought it aliexpress $150, and judging by the reviews from Russians and Ukrainians, it's bulletproof!!! Don't buy PE!!! As you can see in the previous video, even a 9mm can cause a skull depression on impact...Spend the extra $35 and just get a Kevlar (aramid) helmet. of course, it won't perform as well as a $1000 helmet, but... I think it is a product that is guaranteed to have at least some bulletproof performance, as it is being used in the war in Ukraine. This performance is enough for 1/6 the price!!!
You should do these tests with a human dummy head with brain model and cerebrospinal fluid the effect of those bumps on the outer surface of the brain matter would be significant even though the bullet was stopped by the helmet which in itself is quite impressive
Wasn’t trying to leave no comment here, but was curious to see what people say about the helmet as I’m interested in tactical stuff and all sorts of testing videos, but the comment section really freakin’ got on my nerve. Just how many folks are simply oblivious about the change in the outside world. I mentioned this when I responded someone’s comment, the whole “made in…” thing started with England forcing Germany to print “made in Germany” on every product it produced and sold in the market, this was before WWI, Germany at that time mainly produced low quality cheap stuff (sounds familiar?) England’s purpose was to forcefully put this label on Germany and smear its reputation as a humiliation. 1960 to 1970s, Japan became the next target, “made in Japan” was considered cheap and bad, because to a great extend, they were. Japan also suffered huge pollution and claimed many deaths during those industrial and environmental accidents and incidents. China’s economy took off in the 2000s when it finally joined WTO, just like Germany and Japan, China also began with making cheap stuff, but look at now, more than 20yrs passed, China became pretty much the only country that has an entire industrial production chain from raw material to final product, can pretty much produce everything on its own, thanks to a list of US sanctions. Technological innovations ranked top three in the world, the reason why you don’t see high quality stuff was because of the trade war, Huawei is banned in the US market, Chinese electrical vehicle are dominating EU markets and you see none in the US because how cost effective the vehicle is and its high tech will most likely kick Tesla out of the market… if you wanna get something low cost, China has it, but they aren’t for long term uses, if you wanna something normal quality, sorry, you won’t get them, because Uncle Sam won’t allow it, if you wanna something super high quality, sorry, US politicians think it’s national security threat, even including TikTok… so yeah, WAKE UP! Wake up to the truth and the new world will definitely welcome you.

a kevlar helmet isnt some mystical technology, im glad affordable and functional helmets are here. im looking at a chinesium dummy thicc rifle rated helmet right now.... ooohh....
Its a really good helmet. Just dont go into a gunfight where all the tangos are carrying a Tok and theyre all shooting at you from weird angles.
Great video!
How are these helmets performing better than the new British and American aramid ballistic helmets? The shell deformation on those military-issued designs tested with the same ammunition showed here are undoubtedly fatal to receive, what’s going on? 🤷♂️
The Chinese are overtaking the West, that's what's going on 🤣
Didn't see the tests on the new aramid helmets but i saw some tests on the HDPE helmets - High Densitiy PolyEthylene is stronger and better at stopping bullets than aramid fibers but the biggest problem with it is that it doesn't bond well with any glues or by itself.
And similar issues arises with the British VIRTUS helmets, very lightweight helmets it seems with protection deficiencies.
Thank you for the response and input, I didn’t know HDPE was a stronger material.
@@Tax_Collector01 HDPE is currently the lightest, strongest and cheapest material to produce. It's used in ballistic plates and a lot of other applications but it seems that performance varies depending on the manufacturing process and bonding.
I checked and IHPS is also made from HDPE, that's probably why it shows increased deformation
@@PolenarTacticalUHMWPE is in helmets, HDPE is in milk jugs and plastic bags.
I think the delamination on UHMWPE is because the adhesive doesn't penetrate into the fabric the way it would with kevlar.
Some uhmwpe helmets are heated to stop the delamination...
aluminum helment mounts arent always great though because they add extra weight to the front of your head where you already are probably running nods
I think that outer layer is anti-spalling coating.
Imagine feeling a round travel through your helmets layers?! Lol
Probably will feel the impact, but not the travelling if it exits at mere milliseconds
Good stuff bro
Damn that .22 kicks like a horse
it's super deadly
Hey where is the alibaba link for us stateside.
I thought he would say, ' this video is sponsored by NATO. '
So it is the 'Kove Rally motorcycle' of ballistic helmets 👍🏾
Are the straps interchangeable?
Yes
Does it have any kind of V50 rating? My work revolves around testing ballistic helmets, I'd be really interested to see how this one performs in a STANAG shrapnel test.
I got this helmet and it's actually pretty good, cheap, a bit heavy but it protect your head well all for $20.
Although it's a bit uncomfortable to wear for a long time
Hi. Please link of helmed.
It's in the video's description.
Were I buy the bullet proof helmet online
Hello. what is the thickness of the kevlar wall?
Everything is made to a price point. Not surprised to find a good deal with some trial and error
How do I pick helmet size or is it adjustable?
Can someone tell me, what company made that black better helmet? Or how much it costed?
Wow! A helmet made of chinezium in cheena actually works. First time for everything.
where can i buy
I bought it aliexpress $150, and judging by the reviews from Russians and Ukrainians, it's bulletproof!!!
Don't buy PE!!! As you can see in the previous video, even a 9mm can cause a skull depression on impact...Spend the extra $35 and just get a Kevlar (aramid) helmet.
of course, it won't perform as well as a $1000 helmet, but... I think it is a product that is guaranteed to have at least some bulletproof performance, as it is being used in the war in Ukraine. This performance is enough for 1/6 the price!!!
@@ミントチョコ天ぷら can you post a link?
Is there a version for high cut helmet?
tyditiao sells FAST helmets for less than $200
Cool stuff thanks guys! And I think you look PHAT not fat! Cool shirt
В такой футболке сейчас часто в гроб ложатся
"I left my Desert Eagle at home"
I love America
You should do these tests with a human dummy head with brain model and cerebrospinal fluid the effect of those bumps on the outer surface of the brain matter would be significant even though the bullet was stopped by the helmet which in itself is quite impressive
People who cry about Chinese quality are exposing how cheap they are. You get what you pay for. It's simple. Lol.
Bravo super test !! je suis rassuré car j'en ai acheté un: casque MICH aramide chez ali express marque LPRED/ XSMS pour 152 euros très beau casque 😀👍👍
Watching this brought back memories of Chinesium
That Hemet is an indicator of the effectiveness of next generation body armors. That is why the US military is switching to the 6.8mm
I've gotta ask you Žiga; is there a high-cut version in existence?
Strong 💪🏻💪🏻🪨🪨👍🏻👍🏻
.32 ACP is 7,65x17 not 7,62x25! the ammo for the VZ61 scorpion
TEMU says their store is “shopping like a Billionaire” 🛍️ 💸
Where can I buy this?
Shut.... up... go outside
Sooooo. Get your sh it and complete the wideo😂😂
they nerfed the .22lr recoil :sob:
I’d love to have a Vz61. Alas they are very elusive & expensive.
That's the problem with China
One might be awesome, other might be terrible
It was always stupid to generalize things from China. You don't assume things made in Bulgaria and Germany would be same despite them because they're both being of European origin. The difference is China has more people, a larger economy and covers a larger region than the European Union.
lol. you get what you pay. crying about chinese quality just shows how cheap you are.
When you find any good options you need to share a link. You were talking about a European one you tested that was good? Where’s the link? Help some brothers out😂👍
