I have a 52 ford flathead in my 36 ford 5 window coupe. Nice to see it moving under it's own power. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see more videos!
New sub...just found your channel! Top notch content brother. The flathead refresh got me here (picked up a 50 Merc 8ba 2 days ago...believe I can freshen it up as well...great shape)
Cool, so it's a 21 stud engine? You mentioned Sharp heads, what else did you do to it? What year is the block? Did you do a complete rebuild? Time for another video me thinks. Nice job so far, I have a '35 3 Window I'm working on. It has a '37 Frankenstein Flathead with flat pistons and '35 heads but I've ordered Sharps heads and Block mounted water pumps.
Its actually a fully stock 8BA other than the upgraded dual carb intake. It was a "good running" engine but when I pulled the pan I found rings in the bottom so I pulled it apart and replaced the rings and bearings and put it back together.
@@jonathanwood1984 Oh, cool! Because my "Frankenstein" flathead has flat top pistons, I had to have my Sharp Heads custom milled by H&H for flat top pistons. I followed your video series on this car. Thanks for your reply - she sounds great! Lat question, what oil filter system is that? Cheers.
@@jonathanwood1984 My Sharp heads arrived from H&H and I had to do a lot of drillings so the head fit over the studs nicely. I've also installed a Sharp 2X2 intake and I'm waiting for a pair of Stromberg 97 cores to arrive so I can fit them and the linkages - ton's of fun and frustration!
i really want to do something like this, BUT... i want to stretch it out and make it a 4 door to resemble a "suburban" and have a rear door or barn doors. at one time i had 2 1933 chevy trucks. i was wanting to put them together to make a crew cab, but ran into money issues so i sold them, and everything else i owned at the time, and lived in my pickup truck.

Thank you, I appreciate it. Good luck on the refresh
Fantastic! Looks like you switched wheels from the wide five you had before?

Nice byt still looking like a MAD MAX car 🤣🤣🤣
Kinda the point lol
Are those 5 wide wheels on it? Hard to tell from the video. Are they spoked 1935 wheels? Just wondering
I’m currently running 35 wire wheels but I also have wide 5 drums and wheels
