Hi I have the einhell version of the sun joe which I think looks like it's almost identical. I did a front roller mod but used the rear rollers and replaced rear rollers with a steel roller made out of a scafolding tub and a couple bearings mounted in ether end. Works amazing and stripes like a professional cylinder mower 👍🏾
Hi Wee alzo! I looked up einhell and it looks like a very similar line of tools. Very cool. I think the red looks much better too hahaha. Very cool modifications you have made, sounds like it really transformed the performance 👍
Hello! Great suggestion. I did consider it briefly but decided against trying. My hypothesis was because the lower is so light and the back roller is so smooth it would be difficult to hold the line while mowing.
I love my Sunjoe. Your videos are so helpful in making it better. Done the backlap and the roller is next. Thanks man.
Hi b strieg! Thanks for the kind words. I'm really glad you are finding this useful 👍
Thanks, this will be an upcoming project for me! This will definitely speed things up.
That's great to hear SkinnyGeek1010! Please reach out in the future if something isn't clear 👍

Can you please list out the exact supplies needed to create this front roller?
I think I did this on my other video where I built the roller. Links to materials were in that description. Good luck!
Have you considered just removing the 2 large wheels and going rollers only?

I'm so sold into the Ryobi ecosystem so I'm holding out for their reel mower but this is a strong consideration based on the modability
@@rkm82 that's cool! I wasn't aware they were developing one. More options in this area is great 👍
@@rkm82 ahh I see it now. Looks extremely similar to the SJ offering. But totally makes sense to wait to be able to use existing batteries etc 👍
