Best purchase I have a clip of it on my YT. No error codes or performance issues. Sounds good with the window down lil hard to hear it with the windows up. It’s fun as hell hearing the “tss”. Made my pops jus a lil louder too. Also the worries of the flames shooting out the air tube. Cheap and easy. After I installed this with my muffler delete I had a lot of complements. I snapped a couple of necks worth it

Zero issues. The hose has no idea where the air is venting to. So whether you send it into the air, into the intake or up your butt the car has no idea whats going on. As far as a code on the intake, nope. The difference in air flow is minimal. Far less than the different dirty stages of an air filter. 100% safe

Does this mod work with the 2023 version?
Yes it does!
Doing this will make the turbo work harder when acceleration and deceleration, since it will blow all built up pressure into the atmosphere, it will slow acceleration after deceleration since the turbo has to build up pressure but nothing crazy. But it wouldn't hurt or damage anything. Just makes the turbo work a little harder.
What do you think is the reason the BOV vents into the intake in the stock car? Is to mask that BOV sound or is there another reason for it?
I have that exact same question, and is this going to damage the car in any way?

I’ve been using this for about a week now and I’m not noticing anything odd performance wise so that’s nice but I can’t help but fear it’s possibly doing damage.
It is impossible to do any harm by doing this. I'm assuming since no one here said so that this is all of yalls first turbo car and have no mechanical experience so I'll explain. By doing this you are just making the stock BOV do what it is intended to do in a natural setting...venting to atmosphere. In stock form it's just recirculating its relief into the intake to quiet the action of the BOV for folks who like silent driving

@@JuanSanchez-bs8we no. I've been driving with mine like this for 6 or 7 months now, no issues. The $5 "mod" in this video is just a rubber chair/table leg cap. You can get a pack of 4 at Walmart or most hardware stores for less than $5. I forget what size it is tho.

Will this void a warranty if taken to the dealership???
Shouldn't, But it is very easily reversible if you have to go in for warranty work.
Dude I blew my 2016 Koup SX up with a Tork Motorsports tune. I put the factory map back on it and got my shortblock and turbo replaced under warranty. I had a real BOV and SXTH intake, exhaust, and the pointless intercooler resonator delete pipe installed when they replaced my shit. Not a single word about the mild bolt ons I left on. That hose takes all of 15 seconds to revert to stock. I ran the homemade version of the panda motorworks $5 kit for a while on my Koup as well. It was a small hose clamp and rubber chair cap from home depot. A real BOV is a lot louder but in short, no this will not void a warranty. A good dealer will actually tell you it's illegal to deny a warranty and do the work unless you have absolutely fucked the car up with heavy modding.
