The entire interview has been fantastic so far but the moment of mutual exasperation at Guy Gardner is truly Gold
I do not consider myself a Guy Gardner "stan" (I kind of hate that term) but I do think characters like that- him, a young Hawkeye Clint Barton, Damian Wayne, etc. bring a great dynamic to any story. They are the s*** stirrers so to speak.
The ones who aren't afraid to say what others are thinking but are too polite to actually say it.
The fact that Kelly never got to be the primary writer on Spiderman is a crime. She has the perfect voice and style for Spidey
SUCH AN UNEXPECTED GEM!!
Edit: I see a Tom King & Josh Lvl Friendship brewing! Crazy chemistry!
Truly outrageous!
That would be awesome!!!
Absolute Wonder Woman Rocks! And I usually don't even care for Wonder Woman much. Great job Kelly!
Wonder Woman has been my favourite characcter for years, and with King and Kelly T absolutely KILLING it atm, we are in a true golden age for the character
Love the interview Ty for the content. The absolute universe is fire.
Amazing!! Great to see Kelly here, love her work!!
"Witch Diana" is such a great turn, and I'm not just saying that because Hades II has put me in that kind of mood.
Really happy for the entire Absolute line.
I don't know how this passed my feed but I'm glad I ended up checking the channel and finding it because it was so good. I'd put it up there with the best Tom King/Chip & Josh episodes.
Another great interview, Sal. Kelly Thompson is one of my personal favorite writers in comics right now.
Loved this interview! Kelly has been a favorite writer of mine since Hawkeye and haven’t really seen any interviews with her, so I’m glad Sal got to ask a lot of questions about her whole career, would love to see her on the channel again!
Great interview Sal
Also in my opinion, the Deadpool comics have never been the same since the movies
Oh this is awesome!
This is incredible!
This was great! Absolute Wonder Woman is the first thing of Kelly's I've read aside from event tie-ins and I haven't heard her on any podcasts before. I love when people are huge fans of comics. You can just feel the love and excitement she has for her work. It also a big reason why I connect so much with Josh.
Great discussion! Its so rare that Kelly does interviews and realls incredibly fun and informative listening to you two talk. Loved Black Widow, Deadpool, and Absolute Wonder Woman was amazing.
16:11 YOU ARE SO RIGHT
it was so good for a while and then it wasnt
Another solid interview in the bag for comicpop!
Great interview and fun little edits in there. Y’all convinced me to pickup the Deadpool and Elsa book.
She's so cool
Wow you actually got Kelly Thompson on! Absolute Wonder Woman is great so far.
this was a great interview!! so excited for Absolute Wonder Woman to continue
These interviews are truly fantastic. So much information on the industry and fun conversations I can't get enough of.
Love 1st issue. Subscribing to the series
19:00 Sal, are you pointing at me? 😂😂
What a pleasant surprise of an episode
Great interview! Very enjoyable
Read the issue last night. Was pleasantly surprised. Really dig it.
Absolute Wonder Woman was such an incredible first issue, the absolute universe it’s something else
Wow, you got Absolute Wonder Woman! Truly a unique get! 😁
What a fun, fun video!
Sal you did it again you superhero you
Excellent interview and I've been a fan of Kelly's work for some time but she is smashing it over at DC right now.
Man! So excited. Was hoping Sal would have her on at some point.
I don’t know if she will see this comment or not but if she does. I just want her to know that she wrote my favorite Captain Marvel run and I hope the harassment she got from certain crowd on internet didn’t tainted her experience writing that series.
@@jeremyguel7654 Damn right It was the run that maybe really like the character I wish the interview talked more about it and her thoughts on leaving
That's right her run on captain marvel is the thing that made me feel in love with the character I wish the interview talked more about it and her thoughts on leaving it
Fantastic interview, what a fascinating lady #BirdsOfPrey #AbsoluteComics #WonderWoman #TeamILLEGALAMIGO
Didn't see this coming ❤
Yay, they got her on!!
Wonderful chat, wonderful book.
Absolute Batman and Wonder Woman have swung it off the plate. Superman it's your turn 👍
You two are a hoot and a half together.
“Even though I was still, sort of, a nobody” ~@3:25 🫠🥴
Hell yeah Just in time for my ride home from work
The third host of all stars I wish
I like Kelly’s work, but what I love about Wonder Woman is how not Kelly it feels. I like to see creators push and try new things.
I really hope Kelly comes back
talk with her more!
This is sick
f yes
Black widow is my fav work of hers. It was so great and I hope she writes more of Natasha in the future
