Friend ! Which type of diverter valve came original ? Type b or c ?? I see you add in this video a type d? How does it work for you ?? Also I read in some comments that later you ad a Diverter valve gfb dv+? Wich one was the best for the tt , I’m trying to upgrade mine . I still have the ko3 with a Ecu stage 2 Thanks
Biggest issue theese engines have is oil consumption because of not-so-good designed piston rings. It is repairable, but have to take the engine out for that.. :/ Other than that, several smaller issues like thermostat faliure, High pressure fuel pump ( cam follower inside of the pump), but those are all very cheap parts. :D
@@Boosted403 not quite sure, since I havent done it. But all that goes when you replace piston rings. Head gasket, valves, and probabbly some adjacent pieces :)
I ordered same part and was ready to change it just like you did but the old part sitting on the car is not same, its more round and it does not have same electrical conection, any ideas why?
@@audi_anatomy Not sure, i do have a very standard 2007 fwd turbo tfsi. But its very modified and has stage 2 tune so may be an older owner that changed it earlier
Hey, I had no codes, I replaced it because I read through forums that its a common issue, so just as a prevention / possibility that its already bad :D
@@audi_anatomy I am debating on whether I should replace this at all. 8 months into stage 1 and I had no issues running the stock DV. I know it's not a major job but since I don't have a jack, this would have to be done by the garage. Did you notice any difference on how the boost was delivered after the mod? Great video BTW. All your TT videos are much appreciated!
@@JWL-UK I replaced the dv as preventitive repair, so i didnt notice any change. its just a common thing to fail. It is possible to do it just by lifting from right part of the car and taking the wheel of, just like I did it. If you also take some more plastic cover of, its even easier...

@@faccl9820 honestly never seen fault like that. Dont know how the car is even able to detect such fault. But that would indicate you have oil pressure issue that can cause catastrophic engine damage. You really shoud open the oil sump and check that tube then :)
@@audi_anatomy hi thanks for your reply Must be oil pump pickup pipe blocked that's what the machine telling me but first I'll check oil pressure sensor could be the limp mode issue
@faccl9820 if its stuck, then its either metal pieces, old oil, or other object which shouldnt be there. There is no sensor on the pickup tube so I dont know how you are getting that fault..

Mine is next to engine on my TTS, all I had to do is open the bonet, 20 seconds job 👍🏻
Haaa, so it is a lot different on tts engines :)
Hi would faulty DV put Audi mk2 into limp mode
Hi there thanks for making the videos you have help me twice now thank you very much
You are very welcome! That is some great news!!

I see you work a lot on this tt engine. Which are the main issues it has and which would be your recommendations?

@@audi_anatomy what do u have to do once u take out the engine ? Value stems ?

Does this fit with a blow off valve spacer?
Yes, this is oem valve, and should fit bo valve if the manufacturer stated so. So check the blowoff valve before buying it
Is it possible to do it just by jacking uo the car, without removing the wheel?
I dont think so. Maybe, but if would be really hard. When you jack the car, removing the wheel is only 5 screws more.. :)
I mean I fit a DV spacer to mine that way. It's possible if you have small hands
Kommt man so auch an das N75 Ventil ran? Müsste ja quasi direkt da drüber sein
Hmm, bin leider nicht mehr ganz sicher, als ich seit 3 jahre kein 8j mehr fahre :(

It may be that it was a much older part. Did you take it out to compare part numbers?

Would faulty DV put car in limp mode my car cannot excellorate over 4 RPM
Higly unlikely. Your best option is to use diagnostic tool to check for faults, and see what is causing it.
