- My story of how I moved from MI to FL during peak 2020, with no plan, no job or place to live lined up. I want for my story to inspire others that you can make changes by maintaining a vision and intention to do something and allow the universe to fill in the blanks for you!

This is a long comment and good video I resonated with what you said a new sub here.
I have seen a lot of people saying they don’t understand why anybody would love from a state in the north and move to a hot and humid state in the south? Or people are foolish to love to Florida other negative comments.
I understand Florida is hot humid there are states hotter and more humid. Also I have seen comments like when you live here in Florida all u do is stay inside all day because it’s too hot. This may be true wouldn’t you be staying inside for the summer in any other state that is hot? Also who wants to deal with brutal winters? You will be inside 99% of the time in the heated house and not outside enjoying the freezing cold (my opinion I can’t say who else agrees).
High cost of living yea I agree Florida has a high cost of living. I know there are plenty of places you could live that have a cheaper cost of living a lot of southern states as an example. When you look at the bigger picture everywhere you could say if you don’t have a decent paying job, a savings, then it would be hard to make it. Nowhere is impossible to live you have to play your cards right.
I see comments like it’s boring in Florida, it’s too flat. Ok understandable, in reality you could say any state is boring. Not all states are flat some have hills and mountains. Not everybody likes to hike up hills and mountains. I feel like it’s a preference things here just like the heat and cold weather.
Some comments have said people get the illusion of a vacation paradise where you will sit on the beach everyday. Come to find out you are hardly ever at the beach because of work and other life things come first. My opinion no matter where you live isn’t this what happens you work five six even seven days a week and life gets in the way of doing things you like examples hiking going riding on your bike to fishing or hunting whatever the case maybe it happens to everyone. Unless you live a life full of luxury because you have the money to do so. Or you work a passive online business something like RUclips or whatever online business you have to make money you have more time on your hands then working for someone else dreams
I understand there things like hurricanes are big in Florida and the southern states in the gulf. Not saying hurricanes aren’t destructive and what not. Other states have bad natural disasters also. Huge snow storms, wild fires, earthquakes, tornadoes the list goes on. Some use these disasters in their equation on whether or not they want to deal with if they move to that state.
I have seen other comments saying stuff like if you come to Florida you will get stuck and never leave and possibly become homeless. I agree this is a possibility. On the flip side this Can happen anywhere that you go. Most of us are living paycheck to paycheck if we lost our jobs we would be screwed in the street. Also stuck like a lot of the homeless out there in the world. There are plenty of people in many different states where they are lucky enough to have a car to sleep in and aren’t technically on the street. Or others live day by day at a motel, hotel or extended stay because they can’t save the money for an apartment or job doesn’t pay enough to get an apartment. Been there done that it’s hard everywhere.
In conclusion my opinion is it is always good to do your research and due diligence on where you want to go. I understand that sometimes you can’t plan or don’t and just move because you want to. Is doing something without a plan wrong? No I feel like there is no real right or wrong way to live life. Do what you feel is right for your own life do what makes you happy. Love what you do and do what you love life is way to short not to take risks in life. One day we are here planning for the future or hoping to do this and do that then the next day we are either dead. Or can’t fulfill those dreams and aspirations because we somehow got injured and or disabled or even just scared to take the plunge to live or do whatever you wanted to do. Just my thoughts on the situation I hope the best for everyone
Amazingly stated my friend!! That comment could have/be a video on its own. Thank you for taking the time to write that! Many blessings to you 🙌🏼🤍
This is me right now trying my best.... i feel like my soul will be happy in Florida.... its just that i have a family... im so ready to leave new york 😩
I can totally empathize with how you’re feeling! If there’s anything I’ve learned it’s that it’s all about timing though 😆 You’ll get there!!
In the same boat as you. So over NY.
I feel the same way. But I plan to catch flight once a month to visit. My soul and sanity is more important...
It almost always seems greener in the other pasture until your stuck in it...
I’m from MS but live in TX. I want to move to the panhandle of Fl so that I can be closer to home but scared the job market isn’t great.
We moved from ny to jax in 2018. Turned out being the best thing our family ever did.
Aw I’m glad to hear that! 🙌🏼 Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for the motivation brother to step out on faith and make my move to Florida 🙏🙏
Anytime my friend, I hope everything unfolds beautifully for you! Thank you for watching 🫶🏼
Awesome story, I can appreciate following your own path, not following the crowd, and getting a few bruises along the way. Always have been stronger for it.
Thank you! 🙏🏽 That’s exactly it too, always worth the ride even through the gnarly bumps 😄
I'm from Florida and I left to Kansas City in 2016 with no plan, a little money saved and an apartment lined up off of craigslist. I'm glad I left Florida when I did. Its not that great of a state, I do not know why people are desperate to move there? I'm a Florida native, born & raised and I left. My life got better within 6 months. I have everything I ever dreamed of, career, education advancements and material possessions, friendships, relationships, etc., Florida gave me nothing. I left on a greyhound bus. Keep the poverty that Florida will off y'all. It ain't paradise. Good luck!
Thanks for sharing your story! I’m happy everything worked out for you man, that’s the dream. 🙏🏽 I hear ya though! I’m already planning another move now that I’ve been here a couple of years. But I’m enjoying my time here while I’m here.
@@kylekirkconnell Florida is beautiful and it is a great to enjoy. But pretty much all of my classmates I grew up with are not in Florida, or left Florida after finishing school or moved to pursue education elsewhere because beauty just doesn't produce financial stability. Kansas City transformed my life and now I'm planning a move to Chicago. At the end of the day, transportation, and financial stability are important for us all. Florida just doesn't offer either of the two. I wish you the best of luck in your journey. Life is an adventure, that's for sure. Soak it all up!
@@richardfloridaman Totally valid man. Appreciate the kind words! Same to you, thanks for sharing some of yours!
@ Richard, One man’s meat is another man’s poison.. don’t trash it just because it didn’t work out for you/ it isn’t the place where you found success
What is in Kansas City?
I'm moving next week to FL, a fresh start for a more relaxing enjoyable lifestyle 😌
Congrats! Where at in FL?
You won't regret it!
STAY TUNED! AND YOU THOUGHT IAN WAS BAD!
Moved from NY & I'm never going back! I don't care what people say, FL is awesome. The summers get hot sure, but the other 2/3's of the year its so nice. No shoveling & ice
Either way - I hope you continue enjoying it down here. Good Luck
Totally agree my friend! I don’t want to live here forever, I like to experience new things, but it definitely beats the heck out of the snow regardless! Couple months of ridiculous heat is worth it 😂 I hope everything is going well for you here as well! Thanks for watching the video too 🙏🏽
Great story, we all find ourselves in these moments. Thanks
Thank you, I appreciate the positive feedback! That we do. 🙏🏽
Thanks for the inspiration and I wish you the best.
Much appreciated 🙏🏽 Right back at you my friend!
Glad you are living a life of your making, it’s great to see a young person that’s awake!
Why thank you! I certainly try my best to! 😁🤍
Thanks for sharing this man! Lots of courage and it's nice to see others who also are ok with no path because they believe in themselves. Peace and much success to you.
Thank you, my friend! Much love, peace and success to you as well 🙏🏽

This is was so inspiring! have been miserable in Baltimore trying to make it work and be here for my family. But my soul is in Florida and I know that is where I need to be. I leave in two weeks, just me and my savings. Thank you for the inside view and the tips on staying grounded and meditating... South Florida here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aw, glad to hear it inspired! Yesss the grounding and meditating is so important to make sure you’re always in a place of allowing the next step! So excited for you, best of luck to you on your journey! 🙌🏼
I lived the Baltimore experience and know how you feel; a more depressing area I can't name.

Aw thank you, I’m so glad to hear that! Two moves in a short period though, that sounds pretty exciting! 👀 Wishing you a smooth transition 🫶🏼
your story is awesome and I love your positive attitude through out it all, this has definitely taught you a lot and has allowed you to grow to someone you've wanted to be, which I am glad to see. I want to thank you for your advice since I was literally just thinking about dropping everything here in Texas and moving to Florida by fall. I have my doubts and my family is obviously saying I am crazy, but I somehow feel like this video was a little bit of encouragement that anything can be done with will, patience, and right mindset. Thank you again for sharing your long journey with us, I am grateful for your advice and for your sharing your experience with people who feel the same way you do. I hope you continue attract the things you desire and that you are successful in whatever you pursue. Thank you again.
Thank you so much for the kind words and for taking the time to write that, it really means a lot! I’m glad I could help and to inspire, that was my sole intention for the video. Wishing you the best during your transition, enjoy the ride! 😁
@@stevewalther2293 may i ask why? what happened? i heard florida has become crazy expensive? and any advice or tips?
I am from Florida, born & raised and there's no money in Florida so good luck. I left to KC but I was thinking of moving to Dallas or Houston beforehand. Now I'm heading to Chicago. Texas is a very wealthy state. Florida is a tourist driven state with low GDP's in each county. Just look at the per capita household incomes throughout Florida... its $30,000 per year for a FAMILY.
Great job. Nice talk of your journey. Going on to next chapter of life.
Appreciate that! 🙏🏽 Thanks for watching!
You’re brave! Hope you continue to have good luck!!
I appreciate that, thank you! 🤍
Great message! Good for you.
Appreciate that! Thanks for watching 😁
Easy to ‘move’ to Florida but because of the extremely low wages here compared to the cost of housing you might be lucky if you can ever again afford the U-Haul to leave. Lots of people get ‘stuck’ in Florida. It’s a pit.
That’s what I keep hearing!
@@kylekirkconnell you do end up trapped there. I don’t know when people are going to do documentaries on Florida state as a whole not one city in particular. It’s rough to be out there with not making at least $160,000 to $300,000 yearly. The crime is high, jobs pay low, social services don’t help, and it’s a really rough place.
Love your positivity. You deserve everything your heart desires. Subscribed
Aw, thank you so much! 🙏🏽 Much love to you. 🤍 Thanks for your support!
Subscribed IMMEDIATELY! Im 55 and have had a small bus for 26 yrs. A lot of heartache in my personal life too. I planned to move to FL in 2020 yet covid hit. So ive taken my time...eliminated the majority of my belongings. Today i called a real estate agent about selling my home. It is pd off too. Yet i tell people all of the time "lifes not a dress rehearsal". Its time for me to listen to my words so i dont rot! Thank you for this 🤝❤️🔥

I move out to Florida to escape an extremely toxic family situation for 4 months. Got two different jobs down there but left because it was also super toxic. Worked doordash all the way down the east side. Loved it so much, came back to Illinois to re register my car and will probably go back to Florida soon, would love to hang out with you bro. Good luck man
Dang, what a story dude, I hope you find your way where you belong! 🙌 It'd be cool to connect for sure, hit me up on instagram man! @kylekirkconnell

Thank you for reminding me not to give up S.Florida is amazng ,I have paid my dues, now I must keep my faith. I am working on reinventing myself ,I to want to start a business no plan yet. I'm enjoying the shift, still scary.
I love to hear that! Definitely scary at times, yep, I feel you. Keep at it and hold your vision. Baby steps! 🤍
This is so inspiring. I’ve been so discouraged and afraid desperately wanting to move to Florida with my family but not knowing where to start. Tyfs! 🤍✨
Well my friend and for those seeking the same journey, yes, u can take over your life and be bold to achieve success and you have the drive, you'll succeed. Especially, when there's no baggage (kids, wife, dog, etc.). That's all you need. Human beings can accomplish more than they think they can if the have that desire and positive attitude. Get after it, be positive, be good, and don't let anyone get in your way.
Excellently said!! 👏🏼

No plan is the best. I convinced my sister to randomly leave the area we were in for Colorado Springs. Adventure! Things just fall into place 👍.
That is so awesome, I love that! 👏🏼 They really do though. I’d love to hear more of your guys’ story!
@@kylekirkconnell The driving force was what was outside of where I currently was. I loved to travel from trips that my family would take us on so I was adventurous. I recall seeing a photo of my mom and dad on a honeymoon in the mtns of CO. I thought, WOW. I had zero fear of the unknown and even so, it would all work out. God uses people to intervene to give us the stuff we need. It's important to recognize that. What an adventure. We just packed up and left. My sister had a job that she could transfer to at a Holiday Inn which was awesome. At least we'd never starve w/ a food source! I started working there too and met so many people that had connections. We ran into tough times but that's all a part of the journey. My sister never left there, met her husband and had two kids. Me? I continued to drift! LOL. I can't tell you how many places I've been to. It would take me forever to tell you all of the stories but this one was the best because it was the start that changed our lives forever. My advice to people is to just do it!
Gods guiding you!
Wow incredible story honestly
Thank you Hannah! Thanks for watching 🤍
I hear you. I love Michigan. But I’m tired of the cold and the snow!!
Amen to that! I don’t miss it in the slightest 😆

I did the same. It's been the most uncomfortable thing I've ever done in my life.... but worth the growth.
You got that right! Definitely extremely uncomfortable and worth it. The confidence you gain in yourself that can you can endure it and overcome the challenges is top notch 👏🏼
Worth it!
What a story and a string of life happenings..Bless your heart!❤ I'm like so traumatized from renting 3 rooms in 7-8 years, that I already have 3 streams of income that I have to scale. And btw, I'm looking to move back to South Florida myself. I grew up there my first 27 years. Been living in Vegas now too long for no good reason. And now it's time to go back where I truly belong🏝 I'll be following your journey👌(Everything will always go your way.) Keep the faith, and keep believing in yourself most of all!
Thank you for sharing part of your story! Yeah the whole renting and roommate thing is super rough 99% of the time! 🤣 I will say from what I’ve heard from people, that Florida isn’t the same. (It’s changed even just in my 2 1/2 years here) So do be careful in that aspect if you do move back! I don’t know much about SoFlo though, I’ve always been central! But, I appreciate your kind words and support of me and my channel! 🤍🤗
STAY TUNED! AND YOU THOUGHT IAN WAS BAD!
Y’all Floridians never find other places to go. You need to go somewhere affordable and that you can thrive. You may have to leave zones that are hurricane zones. Why move to states that hurricane zones and struggle worst. Florida isn’t the place to thrive or start a business lol. I was a Floridian but will never f-ing return.
Hi Kyle, I Enjoyed your story I'm now subscribed to your Channel/ Liked the video, but more importantly, I wish You the best in your journey...

CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!! STAY TUNED! AND YOU THOUGHT IAN WAS BAD!
You first mentioned Michigan. I don’t even live there, but I totally feel for you as to why you’d want to leave because that explains it all!!
Lmao! Too funny. You’re so right, It was definitely rough out there for sure! 😂
I moved to Austin yesterday! No job lined up, but I’m working on my startup. I’ve already met some great people. Don’t regret it… so far
Nice dude, congrats!! And meeting people on the first day?! That’s amazing! 🙌🏼
Nice. This is the lesson of faith actually.
Exactly!
And understanding faith is understanding that things more more slowly than you expect and your not solely responsible for moving them alone. It's a big revelation in real time because the word is misunderstood.
Yesss, I totally agree! We’re not alone and everything has a timing 👏🏼
I had a similar situation. I'm also from Michigan. I moved down in 2000. Things were much different then. The cost of living wasn't anywhere near as bad as it is now. Everytime the blue team gets in control, the first thing they do is screw the people. Anyway, when I moved down I stay at my sisters house for two days. Filled out applications everyday. I found an apartment in two days, and I found a job on the third. I remember sitting down on the 3rd or 4th day in my apartment checking my finances. I had somewhere between $300-$400 left over, but at that time lasted a lot longer. Anyway, I hope things work out for you. Sure beats MI in the wintertime.
Awesome story man, thank you for sharing! That’s so awesome how everything fell into place in just a few days too. Have you been here ever since?
Sure does beat Michigan, yep! Amen to that
@@kylekirkconnell yes, I’ve been here ever since I moved down. However, I became a long haul trucker. That changed the dynamics. Finding a job wasn’t as hard because everyone hated that job. Second, I really didn’t need to spend much money on housing because I was never home. I tried a few different things from apartments to mobile homes, and finally ended up with a condo. It worked out in the long run.
Hi- How were you able to get an apartment without a job
@@moreadventure3627 I rented month to month with no lease from a Facebook marketplace find. That’s why my roommates were far from ideal, but I made it work 😅
@@moreadventure3627 Things were different back then. You either had the money, or you didn't.
Hi Kyle! .... I'm from Kalamazoo and we are leaving to head to Florida for good in the next month. I've lived there before but I'll be teaching this time, I've spent 20 years in hospitality management, I can tell you that you deserve sunshine and happiness. I hope things are going well for you now! ❤❤
No kidding?! Small world, Kalamazoo is my hometown! Thank you for such kind words, I appreciate it! 🤍 I hope your transition to Florida and new chapter goes smoothly! 😊
@Kyle Kirkconnell thank you! I actually recognized the place you used to work (we live a couple miles away....) this place is a dead anchor, you got out from under a mess....
@@VioletBloom🤣🤣 You got that right! ⚓️ That’s so cool though, I wonder if we ever crossed paths! I just recently met someone else in Orlando from Kalamazoo as well. Too crazy!
Good move!
I went from Mass to FL in 2004 for college. It's not easy to get started here theres so much competition that drives down wages. a 40k a year job will get 300 applicants from all over. It was easier when you could rent places for 500$ a month. Now you have to earn alot to pay rent there's less room for error. I lived in downtown st pete for $550 a month selling boats making 37k in my best year. You need at least 80k to make life work now in Tampa Bay
Yeah! And on top of that, most places are requiring 2-3x rent on top of it too. Crazy, especially for single people
People don’t do their research and will be very disappointed when they learn what you’re saying is spot on
But it's worth it.
Thank you
You are welcome. Thank you for watching 🙏🏽
I love South Florida. People will have their criticisms, particularly in light of the political climate here. But if you earn a good living and live in a nice place- it’s feels like paradise. I’m originally from NYC but I can’t see myself living anywhere up north. Climate and environment makes a difference. The weather is incredible, every weekend feels like a vacation and it does feel very ‘laid back’.
Yes, totally agree! The laid back portion definitely depends where you’re at though for sure 😆
STAY TUNED! AND YOU THOUGHT IAN WAS BAD!
I cant count how many times Ive done this...........Its rough but its doable.....
It’s always a journey for sure, yep 🤣
I love your story I always wanted to move to Florida I moved to Florida from Massachusetts last August but I don't like it maybe its the area it's not what I thought it was going to be. Now I want to move to North Carolina thanks for sharing I feel like everyone here has a story
Thank you, I’m totally with you! I feel like it depends where you are in FL, you’ll have pretty different experiences depending. I’ve been considering NC myself. Best of luck if you decide to give NC a try 😊
I am hearing Florida is not what people thought once they actually live there. Being on vacation is one thing than to move and see the real deal.
@@RB-gt8bf That’s true. Everyone thinks they’re going to the beach everyday and watch a sunset. Facts are, you’re going to work five days a week, do yard work one day, and housework on your second day off. I still wouldn’t trade Florida for any other state.
Inspiring
🙏🏽🙏🏽😁
For the rest of you, you better have a solid plan. It’s very expensive and you’ll probably be renting the rest of your life. Unless your rich with lots of cash, it’s not affordable.
You’re right, it has gone up significantly just in the two years I’ve been here. Not affordable at all 😅 However, when you believe in manifestation and how the laws of the universe works, you at least have a helping hand
@Debed Southern Minnesota is still affordable.
Specifically Mankato Minnesota
@@debed5177I will take Arizona or California over Florida. The day I become wealthy I’m purchasing a home in California not ratchet Florida. I grew up and was born in Florida but that place will have you in poverty and I don’t want to drown from a major hurricane which I survived several growing up there. People from up north who’s indoctrinated by the whole “snow” bad and “sun” good go to Florida because they were lied to. Florida has one of the most worst weather in the South. To each it’s own with low prying jobs to. Why would I risk my life to drown plus have low wages on jobs even with a college degree? 😂. Y’all people crazy and won’t let this state live in it’s truths that it’s not a good state to go build a life in. That’s why crime is high in Florida but america whether focus on New York or California or Illinois or New Jersey or Maryland. They love marketing Florida as this greta state but it’s a rough gritty environment and economically horrible if you’re not from a wealthy background.
@@stevewalther2293
Yes so many of them end up homeless because they come thinking Florida is the place that will help them and give them social support once they fall on hard times. They come with that mentality of their former homes but realize you’ll be left to die outside in Florida in any region to. Florida isn’t built for opportunities to succeed or higher paying jobs or a good economy state for you to thrive in business. You could go to college there but you won’t find slot of internships or jobs there. You’ll be roommating there for years without your own privacy or in motels which are expensive there to or you’ll be outside.
You are young. It gets much harder to pull roots the older you get. I wish I could move out of Florida. The homeowner's insurance, property taxes and auto insurance are bleeding me alive. Florida is overpopulated and I-4 is normally stand-still traffic. Just wait until Hurricane Season. Pray you don't lose everything.
I feel you, I’ve been here 2 1/2 years now so I’ve experienced the above. Thankfully where I’m at I’m not affected by i4 at least 😅 It indeed has noticeably gotten worse in the last year though for sure
I resignated totally with your story. I am well into my 60s now and still stepping out in Faith which kinda is similar to what you are discovering. I’m married, fathered 4 children, back in the 70s I left everything in Southern ca and took off to Europe. Lived on Faith in Christ, traveled throughout the world. Learned to speak German fluently. Got a job in Northern Germany that funded so many of my dreams and travels. Came back to America and married. I too started my own business in medical sales and learned so much. And now with my wife of almost 30 years, here we go again. Selling everything to get out of the city and buying acreage in Tennessee to be mortgage free, debt free. Car payment free and soon to be credit card free. To not be dependent upon any form of government. To live Free and Live Simple. And to stay in good health. One is never to late to step out of the past norms in America and to be Free. For me and my wife, our journey of Freedom is in Christ Jesus and our experiences in life, I’d never change that for any worldly aspirations. What you have and are doing is remarkable and we wish you all the incredible successes yet to occur in your life. God Bless you and thank you so much for sharing as you do. Hope your channel here will explode with people that you can touch and empower to take that risk and believe for a future of wonderful potential. Wayne
That is incredible story, thank you so much for sharing, Wayne! That is such the remarkable journey and I’m sure you’re filled with so much experience and wisdom as a result. I really enjoyed reading that. Thank you for the kind words and positive feedback as well! Wishing you all of the best on the rest of your journey my friend 🫶🏼
@kylekirkconnell Your most welcome, Kyle. One thing I forgot to share is that, while I like you, stepped out and risked everything, I, while living oversees, had also many times, no income, no job. In fact remembering walking the streets with 2 suitcases of all I owned with no monies yet at the ripe age of 21, I just did the positive mind set, (I will make it and God is with me in all of this). That night in Northern Mulheim Germany, I got into a youth hostel. Had a tiny bunk to sleep on, and the next day, I was able to get an interview in a small convalescent hospital. I interviewed all in my broken German and got hired!!! Unbelievable! They needed a suckered, lol.. like me to bathe 80 year Olds. Some even served under Hitlar. During that year, I got my German down fluent. Had free room and board with pay. After those days and traveled throughout Eastern Europe, I had enough money to fly back to then So. CA. And I had over 500 dollars from working in the EU in my pocket. I could probably write a book on all of this, but again, your story Kyle is most inspiring ❤️. Keep moving forward. This world needs your inspiration in particular for the days ahead of us here in the US. 😄👍
That is incredible!! I love that so much! Again thank you so much for sharing! ❤️

I said back back years ago, and even right now, no to what would like to halt ones dreams and aspirations. Take the risk and believe. Believe it, you will succeed against the norm and live. For me personally, I put all my faith and trust in God. I had my parents and many people trying to convince me that what I did and wanted to accomplish in my life was stupid and crazy. Well, I had that inner voice encouraging me to step out and believe anyway with little or no hope from back then family and friends. Like Kyle and even me, we are proof that all things are possible. I'm doing it again right now. Sold our home, waiting now for escrow to close. Moving to raw land. With no extra income but only with what little I get from the sell of my house, paying for the acreage, a new small home, a well, and to be off grid to grow our own food and not be in any shape or form reliant on government for financial assistance. To live free and live simple.
You can do it. Trust in God. Believe in Jesus, and He will guide and sustain the dreams and aspirations in your journey's life. Blessings in all you aspire to do. Wayne
Hey Brother I’m Totally with you, Been thinking of getting into drop shipping. Not sure though.
Right? I’ve breifly thought about that too! I have a friend that has had good luck with it, I was just concerned about it being over saturated or something
I was born and raised in Florida but I moved up here to Indiana few years ago and I haven't been happy really since I've been here I'm ready to go back home to Florida ASAP
Aw sorry to hear that, I hope you’re able to move somewhere that resonates better with you soon! 🙏🏽
Come on back to Paradise!
Hey Kyle I’m from Royal Oak Michigan. Moved down to Naples in September 2020. Sounds like we are pretty similar type people after watching this vid and hearing your story.
No kidding!? That’s awesome man, small world. I have some family that actually stay in Naples part time. Would love to hear more of your story too!
Long story short I moved to Naples on accident. I was planning on moving to Miami but it was too locked down at the time and ended up spending a night in bonita springs on the way to Miami and loved it in SWFL, everything was open and the people were all open and friendly
@@ganifit5069 Nice man! I love that. On accident but nothing is truly an accident. 😎 That's great though, I'm glad you found your spot! Or I guess your spot found you
Everything happens for a reason! Always!
Follow your Dream!
Hey bud, i'm wayyy older than you, but GOOD STORY... thanks!!
Thank you so much for the positive feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed it! 🙏🏽😊

Appreciate you! 🙏
I do know that AirConditioning repair and maintenance professionals are needed in Central Florida. It’s a good trade that can lead to a great career and later your own business. Research how to get started.
A bit of a cliche but when one door closes another opens! You do have to walk through though! Keep working, keep networking, keep yourself healthy and mentally hopeful and talk to everyone and be open to new ideas.
I’m coming too.. It’s my dream
I also came from Michigan about 10 years ago. Beware! The summers are brutal. I miss the Michigan fall season and summer. I miss swimming in the northern lakes and rivers with no alligators. That being said, I do like living here.
I completely agree!! The swimming without fear of gators I definitely miss indeed. 😅
Don’t forget the sharks, jelly fish, stingrays, water moccasins, etc…. Love Florida and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.
@@william-fla-321 Dreamland!
I wish everyone would move to Fla. Oh they are. Enjoy the traffic. Storms, heat, roaches, mold, red tide, spring breaker crowds, etc. Sounds wonderful.
I feel you. Ngl I’m planning on moving again soon cause of the above 😂
💜💜💜💜GOOD SOUL
Thank you! 🙏🏽🤍
I'm 38 years old and just now starting to take my self improvement serious. All my people have moved on in life and we don't really talk anymore.
I still work shit jobs and making others rich. I am tired of it. My dream is to travel and see the world and to make money on my terms.
I respect the mindset you have of starting your own business and taking risks and living life on your terms. I need to do the same.
I couldn’t possibly relate to those feelings any deeper, I know them well! We seem to think the exact same way here. You’ve awakened to the illusion of the system and also what you truly want. Now it’s just the matter of doing everything you can to connect to your heart and intuition to guide you down this path you want. Your soul wants this for a reason, and the hardest part is trusting when it doesn’t make sense. But you can do it. Much love to you, my friend 🤍
I feel the same I feel like a slave working for pennies and boss travel all over the world 😖😖
@@Voltomess exactly! like why build someone else’s dream when you can build your own

I’m leaving Michigan too but even though I love Florida, I’m choosing Phoenix area. I’ll be making 30k more a year than my current 75k a year plus I can always take a drive to San Diego for the beach. Florida is falling apart and is not good for people who have careers like me. But I wish I could live in Florida.
I'm thinking about getting out of Florida later in life, cause I don't want to deal with it being crowded and hurricanes suck and flat down here, lol. Also, everyone and they're brother are moving to Florida from up north. I'm from Ohio myself.
Man you aren’t wrong! I’ve noticed just in the last year how much worse the traffic has gotten. I’m just gonna enjoy it while I can 😆
@Kyle Kirkconnell yea, and it's only gonna get worse, too. It's ridiculous. But it's a vacation state, too, so there's that, lol. Unfortunately.
Oh definitely. I feel like Florida could turn into the new California in a way. Like I said, we can enjoy it while we can before it gets toooo crazy 😂
@Kyle Kirkconnell yea, that's how I'm feeling. As far as Florida is turning into California, I totally agree. That's why I want out eventually or more like when I'm ready, lol.
Exactly! Same here man lol
Me too 6 weeks ago!!
Congrats! 🥳 What part of Florida?
I am leaving and not looking back!
Love to hear it! Enjoy the ride! 👏🏼
It’s all perspective isn’t it? Somebody’s dream place is another person’s nightmare lol. Makes it really hard to know what to do in life!
It truly is! Gotta just ride the wave and find out I guess 😆
Well said!
You’re right one thing I’ve had to learn is go with your gut feeling. Everything happens for a reason, there is a blessing in every lesson in life.
be a landscaper small investment, you a hard worker you will succeed
Congrats. And same here. Moving to vegas tired of indiana. My soul i feel it's in vegas. Meditate and going into nature is good. Great Message bro.
Glad to hear it man, best of luck to you on your new chapter and kudos for following your heart to get there! 🙌🏼 Thanks for watching 😁
@@kylekirkconnell Thanks bro. Same to you. And np.
How much did the DMV charge you to register your bike from out of state? Did you have to rent a garage to keep her out of the bad weather days?
To be completely honest I don’t remember, I did my car and two bikes all at once and it was several hundred dollars with license and title transfers 😅 The bikes weren’t too bad I don’t think! And thankfully the place I found to live had a attached garage with some free space. When I was looking for a place that was a requirement! 😆
My social security check is 1,328 no enough to live in Florida,so I moved to another state.last month now I am weating for a senior apt , paying 454.00
Cannot blame you at all! Rent and cost of living here is crazy right now
Hey, what’s this bike week back in March? I was there!
Same this is my boyfriend and I right now! We have plenty saved up and are looking for jobs now. Finding a place to rent without an income is a bit of a challenge near St. Augustine and you’re hot lol good luck dude
You got that right it is! And it’s wild how many places want like 3x your income too 🤯 But! It always unfolds how it’s supposed to, you got this 🙌🏼😎
@@kylekirkconnellthat’s how it is in nova 3x or your sol. Plus the rent is crazy houses aren’t cheap you can check house here are 300k and up.
I won't let you down.
I’d never suspect that you would my friend 🙏🏽

My great grandmother came
here in a mule drawn wagon.
Welcome to Florida.
Are you still there? Im moving there soon. No plan. No job. No place to stay. Just a mustard seed of faith! Any tips??? Place to camp?
I am still here, though I will say and give a heads up that cost of living has skyrocketed since I first moved here and it’s a little tougher to get established from all the people moving here. But if that’s your dream and what you’ve set your mind to, and you come down with absolute full trust that it’s gonna work, it will!
I'm a Canadian looking to immigrate to the states and Florida has been at the top of my list,
I'll be starting from zero once I get there.
the hardest part is the immigration process... wish me luck!
and thanks for your story,
Cheers from Montreal' Quebec, Canada.
No kidding! That’s a whole extra dynamic and set of hurdles. You got it though, hold the intention and the vision! Wishing you the best of luck on your journey! Thanks for watching 😁
@@kylekirkconnell Much appreciated, thanks.
Montreal is a beautiful city!! Architecture and culture unbeatable compared to any large city in Florida. Learn to speak Spanish if going to south Florida.
@@stevewalther2293 It gets boring sitting inside your home to avoid the heat and humidity for 8 months out of the year!! Lol

I trust in Jesus. You can too !
I plan on moving back to Florida in December, anyone interested in joining the journey leave a reply and we can talk and see if we align at all.
Wish I could just take off
