I got to play a little bit on one of your banjos once and really liked the tone. Calvin Leport of Rarely Herd had it and let me look it over many years ago. Very nice!
Hi Tom, I picked up a Classic, Deluxe at Elderly this week. (My 2nd Nechville!) After getting it home and cleaning it up I notice I couldn't get the Punch out of it, like my Phantom. I thought it was the tailpiece giving me some issues and after watching this...I found that I indeed needed to adjust it. This was helpful, thanks for posting. I love your Banjos!
Thank you ,, I was confused about all of that ,, The neck angle seems fine , It may need may some reverse bow to bring the action down a bit , I will give that a Try ,, Thanks again
Lemmy Kravitz a fastener most likely fell off into the banjo is there a nut rattling around inside? Usually held on by a thin long bolt and nut. Take resonator off and it should be obvious.
It's back on ,, Bad design ,, Nothing rattling But the piece holding it on is actually the outer nut of the truss rod , But id did have a tiny screw that fell out ,, So when I take off the back to adjust the neck I should find where that goes ,, One other thing ,,, Why is there a truss rod plate on the head stock ? If iit's not the place to adjust the neck ...

Lemmy Kravitz the truss rod is in the neck and adjusts bow of neck not angle. The coordinator rod adjusts neck angle a little bit

i have to say. listening on an average computer sound card...this is pretty useless comparison. a completely subjective test. just saying
