@@gsl649 vibrato means the note goes slightly up and down. chorus is an effect that doubles your guitar sound and adds vibrato+slows down slightly the second guitar track(i think not sure tho) if you take out the main track and keep just the track that the chrous adds you'll get just a vibrato effect.
I’ve noticed from learning about these people over the years, so many of my favorite artists and bands just used whatever was cheap and sounded good at a pawn shop. Trying to recreate it those sounds is fun but when it comes to creating new music I find it very difficult to stray from what’s traditionally thought of as “good” gear and tone.

These are phenomenal synthesizers that use a very unique sound source called "phase distortion" to create and dial in wave forms. I restored a Casio CZ-101 about 2 years ago and while it's sort of a pain in the ass to program, I still love it! Hats off to you Mac!

Mac’s always been authentic in his music production. He doesn’t know all the terms and answers but he can play and get into a creative mood and experiment with different instruments and tech, and I think that’s all it takes to make something worthwhile.
He’s also crazy talented. I’m obsessed with production, and his records sound AMAZING from an objective standpoint. Especially This Old Dog and Here Comes The Cowboy.
I think a lot of it is from the booze and touring diet. Stress, booze and cigs will do a number on ya. He's looking better these days than he did a couple years ago though. I wish him the best.

I love how different every guitarists pedal boards are. like Mac vibrato from using the only wet signal from chorus, how he uses 2 reverbs is also new too me. and the fact that he secretly loves those cheap zoom multi effects pedals 😆. I love hearing people talk about this stuff.

He would fucking love the Alexander Radical Delay. The chorus and vibrato on the single knob sweep and the glitch/bend modes, all so simple to use, he'd have a hell of a good time on one I tell ya hwut.

I personally tend to use the chorus pedal when it's the chorus of the song, and the flanger when it's the flangerus of the song
Basically just use whatever you have access to. Great mentality when it comes to actually creating
