@@gsl649 vibrato means the note goes slightly up and down.
chorus is an effect that doubles your guitar sound and adds vibrato+slows down slightly the second guitar track(i think not sure tho)
if you take out the main track and keep just the track that the chrous adds you'll get just a vibrato effect.

I’ve noticed from learning about these people over the years, so many of my favorite artists and bands just used whatever was cheap and sounded good at a pawn shop. Trying to recreate it those sounds is fun but when it comes to creating new music I find it very difficult to stray from what’s traditionally thought of as “good” gear and tone.

I love how he reached to what he had and just experimented to create his own sounds. You should do this with Kevin Parker or Stu Mackenzie. I would like to know how these musical geniuses approach shitty pieces of gear to make magic.

It’s funny how he says he tears himself apart over trying to get the perfect drum sound when I’m a massive fan of his drums sound on record. Everyone talks about “Mac guitar tone” when his drumming drives so many of his songs.
