Oh nice you’re originally from Hawaii. Im on Oahu but originally from Kauai. I’m moving there hopefully by the end of this summer. Can’t come fast enough. Hope the heritage at stonebridge by Lennar gets offered soon
You can certainly look to purchase those as well. Just keep in mind that condos typically have higher HOA fees and may have restrictions on renting the unit out when you are not occupying the property
Hi Tiffany great question. I personally haven't had any issues, however I have had some friends mention scorpions. I think it really depends on where your property is located i.e. near a mountain. I would just check to see the exterior of the home as well when you are previewing just to make sure you're not missing anything. I do pay for Terminix to come to my house which is very inexpensive.
@@SeanUyehara Hey Sean! Thanks for replying! Okay apparently we are near Costco and close to downtown Summerlin I just found out 🤣 our neighborhood isn’t by the mountains, either! I’m terrified of bugs and have never seen a scorpion in my life lol. We (hubby and I) are coming from LA. We’re super stoked but the whole scorpion thing gives me anxiety LOL
Good video. I like the Summerlin area but I haven’t heard anything about the safety especially when they are part of Las Vegas and as a big city, I heard they don’t respond as fast as Henderson. Also, how are the schools ratings especially compared to Henderson? Thanks
Question : If someone lives in Summerlin, but still wants to bar hop on the strip 2-3 times a week, is it safe to just park in the casino parking lots? Or will you get mugged and assaulted in the casino parking lots? Similarly, do you get carjacked going to and from the strip, given the dangerous areas near the strip?
When adding to your con list be scorpions? I have read a lot about people saying they’re finding scorpions in their yards and inside their houses in the north west part of Las Vegas that’s what actually deterred me from moving there.
Interesting but it’s sad in Nevada we don’t have many fourplex in areas like summer line or other gd neighborhoods to buy .We have been looking for a gd fourplex but can’t find .
How is Summerlin for someone who is single? Debating between living on the strip to be able to meet more people vs saving some money and living in a place like Summerlin where I could potentially have some property.
You can definitely still meet lots of people in Summerlin. You'll meet more locals vs. living on the stirp. If you live on the strip you'll encounter more tourists. Not a whole lot of locals like to hang out on the strip. I'm one that does but many choose to visit local bars, restaurants, etc.

what about condos for retirement,or vacation property

Thanks for this vid! Moving to Summerlin next month! Are there scorpion/bug issues in Summerlin?? Thanks

@@MissTiffanyTynes Yes, tons of scorpions. You'll have to spray inside and outside your home to control them.

Schools are some of the best in town.
Sam, I am not seeing any people in the area you were at? How is the community there ?
Summerlin is ranked as one of the top master planned communities in the Country
I'm most likely interested in the tract mediatrenain /spanish homes. The ones that you showed on camera

No you can certainly do that

I think summerlin is my pick im from cali and the cost of living is too much especially tax, summerlin's whether is also a huge plus for me

Great job bro🤙🏽👍🏾I’m looking to make a move looking for a small house 1300-1500sq feet
Thanks Danial, glad I can help brother
im trying to move to vegas by 2022. Hawaii's cost of living is getting out of hand for me and my girlfriend.
I don't blame you, we've had many others from Hawaii seriously look at relocating due to the rising cost of living

Lived here 10 years ever even seen a scorpion
Lived here over 20 years and have never had a scorpion in my house. I’ve lived in summerlin too.
Sorry to hear that
You in the desert it happens but the best thing to do is keep your doors and windows shut
When ppl say 50 degrees is cold 🤦🏻♂️
Great content as always🤙🏽

How far is the closest casino to Summerlin?
You have a few right there in the neighborhood. You can check out Red Rock Casino

Yes very true. It would be such a great opportunity for first time homebuyers to start investing in multi unit properties

What a weird, trashy question.
There are Many Pro's but the Most important Con of it all is that these communities are all run by HOA's
Yes the HOA can be a pain sometimes
