The Cybertronic Spree is a band of Transformers who perform whatever the hell they want including 80's metal, classic rock, classic cartoons, videogame, and anime theme songs at full volume. Their metal anthems, based around the soundtrack from the 1986 animated film, The Transformers: The Movie, have since transformed into a one-of-a-kind live show that has audiences singing along.

@@peterjanjanin9883 I mean more the dedication to the whole "in character" thing these guys do, not only on stage but in interviews. I think that sticking to that requires a level of dedication that most people cant even really get their head wrapped around. I meant the analogy as the utmost of compliments.

it's a feat of engineering that not ONLY did they build a stage unicron cpuld use... but also a guitar.

Lagbait *Frenzy (FIBRIR), But in Cybertronic Spree and the G1 cartoon it’s Rumble (RIBFIR)
*RIBFIR originally started because of unspecified error somewhere in production of the G1 cartoon, the two robots had their color schemes swapped, leaving the animated incarnation of Rumble blue, and Frenzy red. But only in the West, the Japanese Dub fixed this error making Frenzy blue, and Rumble red.

This strongly speaks to the '80s kid I used to be. Transformers was one of my top 5 favorite cartoons way back in the day.
Also, the guy dressed as Unicron has the most awesome goatee and the best excuse for it.
I can't decide what is more impressive - the costuming, the music, or the video editing. They all exceed my positronic circuits' processing capacity!

Y'know, THIS is why Hollyweird hates the REAL fans - sure, "Transformers The Movie" was a slick animated film for it's time. Sure, it looks "dated" by today's standards. Yeah, I'll even say it was a frenetically paced "ad" to sell a wave of toys. But it galls the media conglomerates that a cheaply made, tight budgeted movie from the '80s is kicking their asses in making quality products.
The reason is simple - the studios then & the toymakers then, had the passion & drive to do it right. They got genuine actors who took their art seriously - "past their primes" though they may have been - great animators, somewhat unknown musicians, & a great soundtrack composer (he may have been a tad too '80s in his style, but he's criminally underrated today), Bill Conti & they all knocked it over the park.
And the REAL reason the media conglomerates loathe us fans & our dedication to what we love is this - they know the homages we fans do & the source material we care so much about will be remembered more than the garbage hacks like Michael Bey churns out....😠

This should be the anthem of EVERY generation. The message in this song is as true today as it was back in 1986. This is not opinion, this is fact. Also How have I not heard of this band before? I fee like I've wasted half my life.

When I was a kid I saw Transformers the Movie in theaters. Every screen was sold out for the night, and I had to wait an entire day to see it. Was totally worth the wait.

ah yes, the ultimate magical place on earth, Dragon con, hands down. I was at this show. For a show that started at midnight/ 1am, they rocked the marriott ballroom! the room was filled with energon. I knew I had to see them again, so made sure to see them at beat kitchen in chicago. I plead with everyone who is a transformers fan, go see them and support the band by seeing them live, or buying their merch online. I know I did. I bought a shirt and 2 posters. They totally deserve it. Cant wait for the rescheduled show at lincoln hall!
