Ah yes, Cybertronic Spree reminding everyone a truth we learnt in 1986 - that any song can be improved with addition of Transformers.
You mean a truth we learn in 1974. The band Sweet released this in 1974 and became a hit. Tia Carrere did it in Wayne's World in 1992.
@@craigshinneman2285 ,you forgot the Krokus cover in 1984 which totally kicked ass too.
Improved? Hardly. Fun cover but there’s absolutely no passion in the vocals here, unlike the original
Looks like a really fun song to play
Best still the original, good cover though.
Arcee's voice is pure rock majesty!!!
Arcee Cola Did anyone else catch that?
Anyone ever tell you that you look like Hotrod from the band? ;)
@@thingfish000 "Spreetos"
@@thingfish000 I sure did!
She's got great pipes
Every single "Wayne's World" reference in this film made me so happy.
I love you guys!
An the fact Tia sounded better
I was stoked they put those in too. Glad someone else noticed them as well :)
For real... and they can really wail, too!
Probably did it because of Wayne's World hitting 30 years old. Damn, I feel old as hell, lol.
Yes! Loved those bits!
Optimus Prime, do you read me?
The Cybertronic Spree are blitzing Autobot City! My heart's really pounding! Don't know how much longer I can keep rocking out!
We knew that joke would land!

Hello hello earth
We're all going to look like burnt out toaster ovens.
Gimmicks aside they are a really good band. Everyone sounds great.
I think they're great because of their gimmick. As well as their sound.
@@ThereMayBeLions it was a good choice of song to cover. Safe, uncontroversial. I still liked it though.
You are correct but you might admit that the song itself is such a classic it would be hard not to do it well.
@@Murderbot2000 It's not safe. That song is really hard to do well.
I thought this was going to be a joke parody, but it’s one of the BEST covers I’ve ever heard. The sheer musicianship is masterful, vocals and instruments were laser-perfect. You just got a new fan!
They definitely don't take themselves seriously, but they do take the music seriously. They are legit good.
Hey, its hard to do a bad cover of this great song! Unless you're Krokus...
@@kenlieck7756 You're a lot joke if you actually believe for a split second this is a better rendition of the song then the one Krokus did...
@@MrsMingo I went and listened to their version again for the first time in decades and while it isn't great I guess it isn't all that awful either. Anyway, in the process I remembered it wasn't actually the Blitz that soured me on Krokus -- it was that they then dared to foist their decidedly inferior version of "School's Out" on the public. I mean, come on! If you're gonna release cover songs, fine, but maybe take a cool tune that deserved more fanfare than it originally got -- and ferfuxake don't keep picking utterly *iconic* songs that were done *perfectly* the first time around!
@@kenlieck7756 I can't argue with you there....
most excellent cover, what a voice she has
and nice stems
OMG I have the stupidest grin on my face. What an outstanding video!! I LOVED IT. You look like you are having so much fun!! Ballroom Blitz is one of my favorite songs and I lose my shit when you play it live. Thank you for this video, the homages were hysterical!
\m/
Your production continues to astound, the product placement bit was beautifully done.
The sponsors insisted! 😆
@@TheCybertronicSpree I mean, it's just sad that some people only care about, like, money and stuff, you know?
Arcee Cola made me laugh way too hard
@@TheCybertronicSpree The did an offer, you couldn´t resist!!!!! hahahahaha
I was already sold by the song in general but they its also just a huge love letter to one of my all time movies. Hell yeah!
\m/
@@TheCybertronicSpree \mm/
This is actually a really cool version. Much better than any other cover I have heard. This song is impossible to cover but TCS is managing to deliver this in very refreshing heavy Cybertronic spree!
Thanks for the praise. Glad you like it \m/
@@TheCybertronicSpree you are very welcome. Its the truth only.
Seriously . . . something here for fans of the 1970's, the 1980's, the 1990's, and the 2005/2010 crowd. Wreck-Gar would be pleased. Great job bots. :)
Bah Weep Grana Weep Nini Bong thanks for the praise \m/
I speak teevee.
Cue the Dare To Be Stupid cover 😊
Never in my life have I seen a great combination of my favorites: Rockin' Transformers (in all their glory), Wayne's World References and Ballroom Blitz!! It's a dream come true!!
The fact that they can perform so well in such beautiful costumes blows me away every time.
Yeah, even without being a cosplayer myself, I can tell that a LOT of work went into those. They don't just look great, they survive rowdy performances and don't interfere with the music. Imagine transporting them, getting into and out of them, not breaking them, etc. They are a visual love letter to the source material and to their fellow fans.
I love EVERY version of this song! The Sweet, Krokus, Tia Carerre, and all others, which now includes The Cybertronic Spree!
We're not worthy of such great company \m/
@@TheCybertronicSpree \m/\m/
I loved Krokus.
What about James Last and Hector Pascals? Go check them out. ;-)
The Arcee Cola got me. This is probably my favorite version of the song now. Awesome job!
Thanks \m/
SWEET are a highly underrated rock band & this is a storming cover! 👌 👏 👏 🔥
Affirmative. SWEET are awesome!
"Love is like Oxygen" is a personal favorite.
That's why they called them Sweet. Nice cover, did them some justice.
Thank you for making me feel 1986 all over again!
I just love this group.
So fitting they would cover SWEET,they are freaking awesome with this version,I WANT MORE!!!
Thanks for the praise \m/
When I was a kid in the 70s I heard Fox On The Run and it was a perpetual ear worm that I could never identify. Then I watched Dazed and Confused...
The Wayne's World homages were a nice touch.
Love the dual lead vocals just like the Sweet original. Fantastic you crazy robots!
Now do Fox On The Run!!!
That would be awesome!
now that is a song!
WE'RE NOT WORTHY! WE'RE NOT WORTHY! WE'RE NOT WORTHY!
I mean... this is the perfect song for you guys, from a sound perspective. Good call!
Wow, last time I was this early, diecasting was still being used. Amazing video! You guys hit all the notes from the movie, AND THE SNAKE MADE IT IN. Whoever directed the video deserves a pat on the back because the attention to the detail to get those references to *read correctly* with such quick cuts, while still also showing off the personality of the band is top-shelf work. There was probably no need to make bespoke food props to get the gag from the film. You could have skipped over the reference or used some bad CG in its place and nobody would have ever noticed, but one or more of you guys said, "No, we have to make the Pizza Bot box or what are we even doing here?"
Thanks for the praise! We had a ton of fun making this vid. And food props are highly underrated \m/
whatever the video editor is being paid, that bot isnt being paid enough. Hekkin special effects!
This is one of my guilty pleasure songs. Adding clips from The Transformers: the movie is a real treat for me. I suspect Bohemian Rhapsody is on its way.
What a load of crap that was. Be very ashamed of that performance.
@@whittlepixels5633 As if you could do it any better.
@@whittlepixels5633 No one likes a Negative Nancy.
So many great deep cut nods to Wayne's World in there! Love it.
*is now curious a) how many people know the song BECAUSE of that film b) how many people born beyond the 90s have seen that film, considering how WELL it still applies to the RUclips content creator era*
Tales from the crypt: bordello of blood is the movie I remember it from.
@@jamesmendyk8546 or C) Know the song from the band Sweet itself...lol
I've seen Wayne's World too long ago to remember much of the music featured in it, but Ballroom Blitz has stayed in Australian 'classics' radio circulation, so that's how I know it. Surprised and impressed at our favourite bots and cons delving way back into the 70s.
I def associate it with Wayne’s world
Wayne's World for me. What you just said about the content creator era makes me want to watch it again.
I want to hear Arcee belt out so many more songs. Love that voice...
"Wow, you really wail"
Love this so much! What a perfect way to reference Wayne's World. Fantastic vocals that just nailed the song. I love you bots so much 😀
Thanks so much for the praise! We had a ton of fun doing this song \m/
This IS a Sweet cover!! Love it!! And the video is great! Love the Wayne’s World references!
This is indeed a Sweet Cover
This was truly a masterpiece of a cover!
You guys should cover Sabotage from Beastie Boys if possible, your style is beat-boppin
Good call!
They should do their Doom riff and then it’s Sabotage At The Gates Of Hell
This is now my favorite version of this song
I think you need a Dark of the Moon Pie to go with that Arcee Cola :)
Brilliant work, as usual!
Arcee makes me feel kinda funny, like when we used to climb the rope in gym class.
😆
Loved the gratuitous Wayne’s World nods👏
Now, I'm not saying that this is the "greatest music video ever made", but like, that's exactly what I'm saying
Absolutely fantastic cover, and a lot of *excellent* nods to the Wayne's World video…
You guys always make me smile, so wholesome
Even you, Unicron
This is a worthy cover of the Sweet. I must admit you have done the second definitive version of this song but the Sweet win because they are as camp as camp can be!
We agree! We aspire to be maybe 0.5 as campy as Sweet \m/
After the millennia long civil war between the Decepticons and Autobots finally came to an end, they all had to go find a new carrier.
Some chose poorly (poor Starscream) but these ... I think these chose wisely!
Most exellent!
There's more to life than pew pew \M/
Always bring a smile to my face.
This was a karaoke standard until my old man vocal chords betrayed me. I love this song so much and you guys are the best. Never stop.
Best cover of this song ever!! I love how well the riff from master of puppets fits this!!!
Uni was just upset he wasn't asked if he was ready :_( That was so good! That video really turned my day around
Excellent! We’re not worthy!
Perfection, adoration and instant recognition.
Thanks!
Starscream be like, "You better be careful, Megatron, or you just might lose me."
soundwave showing shockwave he's more superior by strangling him in the backseat of the car. lol.
unicron still has no joy. oh well. lol.
nice job, you guys. this rocked.
Another fantastic video gang. Loved the rendition of the classic.
This cover has no business being as good as it is.
Great video! Wow! Obviously a lot of love and hard work went into this, what fun.
This is a really sweet Sweet cover!
What a Great idea for a Band 🙂👍
Friggin’ fantastic!
Transformers driving a car and jamming out. My mind is blown.
There is absolutely nothing, NOTHING to not love about this!
Thanks!!
Now that was excellent I've heard alive ballroom blitz's but you guys have Passion for that song keep on showing that Passion for everything you guys will become legendary if you're not already.
This RULES. Arcee wails as usual and I loved the Wayne's World refs :D
Seriously the best music video of all time! You have created perfection!
great, great, just great awesome fun to rock out to this!
You guys are fantastic. Really made my day with this.
Loved there live performance in Indy 2021. So far the best live band i the universe
Hi Fi in Indianapolis was awesome! We hope to rock out there again soon \m/
I remember when I first discovered you, I was like "MAN this is fucking badass... what a sweet persona to take for a rock band... But, who ARE these goofballs?!?!?" But I remember quickly discovering that you guys were no joke and that your music was in fact quite fabulous... with one of the greatest parts being the lead vocalist's skill (excellent vibrato... very powerful and never OVERDONE). You guys truly are professionals, despite the "BADASS", yet "generally not quite 'mainstream effect'-style" outfits.
great!
"expensive lightning effect" made me laugh a lot :D
10 out of 10 would recommend!
This is so awesome!!!
1 year after this was released I finlly have seen it. Absolutely love the Wayne's world parody mixed with transformers. Great job on mixing the two together.
I have to say, this band's musicianship is Excellent! Beyond the costumes (OK, they're not costumes, they're actually Transformers left behind on Earth), they really rock. 'Arcee' is a superb vocalist, and the bass, drums, lead and rhythm, are all spot-on. Great cover, and I love all the references.
more amazing work from an amazing band. need more covers :)
stay tuned...
Supersonic Vocalist Arcee.... excellent song choice & the video is mega. Another way of sayin it; this is fuc*ing awesome. \m/ 🚀⭐
Agreed.
Omg the nostalgia is *real* here fam
Freaking awesome!! You guys rule!! Til All Are One!! 🤘🤘
Magnific as always
I was having the hardest time trying to wake up and decide what to do with the day.
And then I watch this...
Now I'm extra really confused!!!
No just kidding, I love you guys. I tell everyone about you. You remind me of my childhood!!! I'm ready to get out and start my day now, thank you!!!
I love these guys ❤️❤️❤️
My only wish is to see you live someday!!! Cybertronic Spee and Sweet.. What a Combo!!!
I love the Wayne’s world references especially the product placement scene!!!!!
Ballroom Blitzwing?
Hahahaha! YES.
activate dad bot
I love the Wayne's World References.
The Spree never fails to make an entertaining video!
RC COLA! OMG, that is brilliant. All the references were just perfect. Thank you for restoring my faith in internet Bots.
This... was surprisingly better than I thought it would be at the beginning. And I forgot how much I used to love the Transformers movie as a kid. Just w0w.
I’m surprised Hasbro hasn’t slapped these guys with a cease and desist order yet
Been addicted to this the last week or so
this was, perhaps, the greatest music video ever. But i had to rewatch it like 12 times cause every time arcee came on screen i kept hearing dream weaver.
That shot of the Arcee Cola worked on so many levels!
I didn't know I wanted this until I saw it.
There is no day that can't be made better with some new Spree. Love it!
This is the most perfect thing I’ve ever seen. Cassandra, Wayne & Garth would be proud.
Thanks for the praise. We had a blast making it \m/
3:49 I love the deadpan comedy...infact I love all of it 👍
Love the Wayne’s World references
I had no idea I needed this in my life up until this point.
It was... phenomenal, and totally justifies the crush I had on Arcee when I was a child.
This is too amazing, I'm crying.
Turned out to be a whole lot better than I'd expected. The robot thing aside, it was a well done rendition of The Sweet's song.
This is so good!!! Love everything about this!
This is beyond epic!!!!
Musicianship is perfect, vocals are great and Transformers dropping in Wayne's World blurbs!!! Hell yeah!!
