With the latest 1.2.1 upgrade, in P3d4.5, this aircraft is superb! I can load winds aloft, on the flight plan route. This exceeds what the PMDG 747-400 can do, at the moment. With Sim Brief, adding details into the FMC is great. But for Quality Wings, the big plus is the "jump ahead" feature. If you have only a couple of hours to sim it's no problem, hop on board, cross the pond, land in well under a couple of hours! Superb!
I would be lovely if the FMC could also auto load the Alternate flight plan (and of course with that also the reserve fuel) it does not seem to work... I'm wondering if that will be added in a future release. ...
Whenever I try putting an icao code for any airport in the destination box, it just says that it’s not in its database. For example, it said that kjfk was not in its database. Also, ksan, and all of the others that I’ve tried. Not one single one will work
what about ETOPS FMC procedures? On the ALTN page I can´t enter alternate airports and there is no RTE2 page. Are you planning to update and model this? Thanks in advance
For setting up ETOPS it is sufficient to add three FIXes: ETOPS entry point, exit point and ETP (Equitime Point). The coordinates are easy to obtain for example from SimBrief generated flightplan.
I love flying this aircraft, you talk about a smart plane

Please do a series on emergency procedures. Diversions, engine failure, engine fires, etc.
Dear QW please think about adding to the FMC the following options: RTE2 and custom waypoints (at least Point/Bearing/Distance)
Thank you for this very good tutorial. may I ask if the VOR of your QW787 works properly ? how can I set VOR course in the FMC?
Thank you.
Thanks Nick. Does the FMC let to enter radial and distance from the point on LEGS page, as 737 FMC?
