Now you have me looking around the house for spare placements! You can even use your scraps to make a piece of fabric, quilt it and you can use all those odd and ends. I love this idea so much! Thank you Timothy for another great video!
Just wanted to tell you that I appreciated your funeral info video. I never knew there was so much new variety available. Thank you it’s important to get this info out
Tim, I absolutely, positively love your tutorials! This one is no exception. I love how you "reused" the the bias from from at cut corner area!!! Great idea👍👍👍👍👍 Thanks!!!!
This was an awesome video. I love how you showed the whole process and ways it could go wrong and how you gave solutions to work them out. Love the bag. ❤❤❤
I love this. As you said, it would be good for people who don't like carrying purses. I will definitely be making this for someone I know. Thank you ❣️
Exactly what I was thinking, sew the two ends than attach to your fabric! I’ve got the same problem with my eyesight, so I now use a small square of white cardboard or piece of paper, when I have to thread my needle , I put it behind it , it enhances the eye of the needle & you can thread ! This also works on hand needles, a little bit harder , but can be done ! I put the white paper on something, like a pincushion, just long enough to help me thread ! A self threading machine is outta the question, too expensive! A friend of mine told me hers never threads right , she’s got problems with machine & no one can fix it ! That’s a bummer!
Hi Tim, I have a machine with the needle threader, and broke it soooo I use a piece of bright washi tape help me😊 thread my needle. Love it!! I do enjoy your videoes!!
Thank you Tim. I've really wanted to make this little bag. So cute. But, as you said. They inly play music and say nothing. Nope I can't do it that they. Also try and remember how to make this cute little bag.❤❤
That is such a fun idea!! I’m definitely saving this one! I really like the snaps too. Though having sewn for kids I want to do a failure test. You know the one “if properly attached how many weird sideways pull from a kid before you have to replace it”. What are your thoughts on stability?
Your opening statement what to make for Christmas got my attention. I want to make my 2 grandchildren, ages 7 and 5 dopp bags for Christmas. Now I made one yrs. ago using the Pioneer Woman place mat. Could you come up with a smaller pattern for the grandkids using spiderman material/Elsie, batting and lining material for the inside. I am thinking of using the crosshatch quilting pattern. Can't wait to make this current project. Thanks
You know the square you cut out to start with and thought someone would find a way to use it? Well how about using it for a pocket on the backside of the purse.
Ooops! you put the tape on the arm holding the foot. My machine has the quick change feet so I put it on the base that holds the foot. Hopefully It made sense to you.

I love this! I’ve been looking for something just like this for me to use while walking. Thank you.
I refuse to listen to any video that doesn’t have spoken instructions. Those drive me nuts! This turned out adorable! I love the compartments.
Me too really drives me crazy.
I do this with dollar tree ones. You can just sew your favorite fabric over it. Thank you for the video. Can't wait to make.
Fun!
Clever pattern. Origami to the rescue! Nice folding.

You are very kind! Thanks for noticing that. It works out great as long as you have a little bit extra they’ve folded for the corner.
Very nice little bag.

Glad it was helpful!
Phone, small wallet, loop for keys with a snap, use one of the squares that you cut off to make a credit card pocket and a drivers license pocket.
Absolutely brilliant idea for cute placemats. I think I’m going shopping today….. 💕
Have fun!
I did enjoy this tutorial! Thanks for the ideas and instructions!

Okay, there is no more placemats, so I have teetowel in that pattern. So can I use that instead?
Seems like it would be worth trying 👍

I haven’t used them long enough for stability answers yet. But I’ll keep that in mind as I go forward making stuff with them.
Ohhh…I think I still have a placemat❤
Awesome! I hope you try it!!
That turner looks like a plastic straw and used a wood skewer. I might try that. 😊
Go for it! Just get a decent sized straw. Those Boba tea straws are good for this.
Good morning Timothy
Morning!
Great info.
Glad it was helpful!
U r so talented, and funny too.
Wow, thank you
Would gluing the binding down first help?
That absolutely might help.
Thank you, so cute😊
You're welcome 😊

Can I use a placemat from Dollar Tree for the crossbody bag?
Yes. You could also use a comforter or even jeans.
Sure! Anything that’s 14” x 19” or similar.
Rug mugs
Oh yeah. I see a scrap project!
You know the square you cut out to start with and thought someone would find a way to use it? Well how about using it for a pocket on the backside of the purse.
That’s a great idea!!
Left over fabric, coffee cup coasters.
Good idea
KEWT!!!!!❤
I love that RUclips asked if I want to translate this to English. Hahahaha
@ 🤣
❤❤❤
You can put your sun glasses in the middle spot.
Great idea! I should have thought of that. Lol

Would a dollar tree mat be to thin?
I don’t think so. Some people just use standard fabric and sew right sides together and then turn right out with any batting. Do your thing!
