Great Video! I flew with Virgin America back in September 2016 from Las Vegas to San Francisco. I thought it was the best safety video ever! :D :D
That was my favorite video of all time! I use to watch it and loved it so much! It's sad that Alaska Airlines bought them. Virgin America was an airline that showed pride being an U.S. airline, while Alaska over here doesn't really show it and who flys an airline that is based out of Seattle instead of it's name? Like c'mon.

Omg! The San Mateo bridge! Me and my dad always use to cross that bridge when he went to fly his Cessna in Hayward.

Thank You so much for posting this video. I am flying to Orlando on Christmas and my original seat was 18A, but from what I saw, the window was not right next to the seat. It was a bit in front, so I changed my seat to 19A. Saved me from a bummed out experience my dude

i was there in november 2014 on a layover from ewr to las vegas, i loved virgin america airlines. i boarded my vegas flight from gate 35 or 36

No, not at all! This flight was on sale for $69 excl. luggage...
Do you know what the paying options are? Did you need to use a card?

+keannu Yes, unfotunately you have to pay with a card, no cash accepted. If I didn't show a USB port in the tripreport they wasn't one... :)

I was curious what Virgin America was like. So I was excited when this video showed up in my feed. I just knew their very popular Safety Video and they've some interesting cabin lightning.
While boarding people looked in the camera like you're nuts.
The IFE surprised me in two ways: 1) I'm aware it's quite common in the US to pay for movies onboard, but I didn't expect that from VX. 2) Ordering food and drinks on the screen is really cool. I haven't seen that before.
Do I get it right that you had to pay for excess baggage because your luggage tag says "EXCESS"? If yes, was it affordable?

People always look at me like I'm nuts if I make a tripreport, you just have to get used to it^^ I was surprised by this functions of the IFE too! Never heard that there is another airline you can order drink and food with your screen, clever idea! It wasn't possible to book a flight that includes checked bags (whyever) so we just checked them right before our flight. Costs we were expecting, because everything is listed on VX's website. I think it was around 20 bugs per bag, quite okay...

No they are not.
DrJuice1, Those missile looking things are actually protective covers for the flap actuators. They help reduce the amount of drag that would be present if the actuators and their hydraulic rams were left out in the open.

Why is there Virgin Australia and Virgin America
There's also Virgin Atlantic^^
They are all partly owned by the Virgin Group so the share the same Name but operate from different countries.
Simply Aviation Virgin Atlantic is amazing. Went FC or Upper Class To Dubai From LHR and The flight was amazing. Crew so kind, pilots amazing, seats very good, 10/10

They are separate companies once owned by Virgin. Both operate out of Los Angeles International (LAX). Sadly Virgin America have been bought by Alaska Airlines who do not wish to retain the Virgin America brand and therefore the VA aircraft and routes will be assimilated into the Alaska corporate brand.

Oh, btw Pop Chips aren't fried. It's mostly made through air cooking . Doesn't taste great at all. Especially with Salt and vinegar which makes them very bitter. The Fried ones are better.

I found a cool airline called Air Tahiti Nui but take your time saving money first because it will be a lot of flights if you wanna go to Tahiti from Paris
