I'll Virgin America, flew them a couples to Vegas from Newark with a layover in SF. There first class was by from the best in domestic flying. RIP Virgin America 2007-2018 ❤
Simply Aviation, Virgin America "hard product” looked and was far superior than what Alaskan has now. I’m sure most customers preferred the look, and comfort of the Virgin Cabin . It’s a shame the brand has gone!.

Since many people enjoyed the Airline, Virgin is planning to bring it back but this time it will have Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia's hands. That's actually how it happened, Virgin America wanted to operate solo but that didn't work for a British Airline operating in the US (like Virgin Hotel)
3 years ago, I flew from SF to LV, with VX. Onboard was very cold, but they served free water the staff was very friendly the saftey video and the Captain annuncement were same.
I'm sad I'll never get to experience Virgin America! My friend who lives in LA always tells me about it and another friend of mine flew for them! It really is a shame. The cabin and overall experience is truly something special and will be missed! I can't see why not Alaska Airlines could of just did a Air France-KLM type merger...
The captain visited with the passengers when I flew on TWA. Virgin America might have survived had it established a hub, minihub or focus city in the Midwest, like STL (abandoned by American).

What a great travel report, I love those short-medium-distance trips on airlines like Virgin America, the sad thing is that the planes will not fly again with the characteristic red and white colors, and I will remember those colored light interiors, which made feel comfortable in those trips, Virgin America was one of the best airlines in America, was an example of hospitality and good attitude of its crew on each flight (it seems a copy of an extinct airline called Viasa) Excellent video!

I have noticed in the US people are allergic to sunlight... on all US carriers the window shades are always closed, and you are not required to open them for landing and takeoff unlike on Europe...

Alaska still has some Virgin planes in their liveries and have the same cabins. There are a few at SFO. They play the safety video too. Do it while you can though

Great review David! I’ve always liked Virgin America’s purple mood lighting and them offering having an IFE despite being a LCC.
FlyCruise Singapore it did look nice honestly, I prefer jetBlue or Alaska Air.
VX offered LC routes within the West Coast. Other routes were actually full service
Virgin America will always be my favorite airline, as I was lucky enough to fly with them!
