Thank you Vince! You saved me. My daughter had spilled tea on one of our dual sense controllers and I thought we had acted fast enough and cleaned and dried it but nope. Everything was basically working except the mic button, which was permanently muted. The only way to change it was in the settings on the PS5 itself. Well I completely tore the controller down to the membrane and it turns out it was a little gummed up as well as the mic button area itself. Once I got that all cleaned up and reassembled (and apart again to flip the ps membrane the right way) the button works like it should! I'm so happy! Thanks you!!

I just wanted a video to show how to open it up, disconnect and reconnect stuff (I dropped it and all buttons stopped working except sticks) and I just took everything out n out it back and it works. Saved me £60! I also had 2 less screws when down to taking off last part? Looked a little different. Thanks again
I need to replace Mine too but i got an other Version of Controller and cant find anything about it Somehow i need to remove IT at the shoulder Buttons

Hello, so I tore my mic ribbon cable. For the purple controller. I ordered a ribbon online but it still didn’t work.. I believe it ordered the wrong one.. would you know the right part ?
i scratched the ribbon connector for "better Connectivity" on the motherboard and now my buttons exept for Triangle wont work.is it fixable ? and is the motherboard gone bad or the ribbon?

Could this fix the controller not turning on. It charges and all but when i press the ps button it wont turn on my ps5 even when wired
