The song is about the guitar player Ryo who was bullied in middle school planning his revenge. The drummer his older sister in real life, is sad she cannot protect him. The song takes the journey of him leaving the pain behind. This is the best intro song for MtH, the best follow up is Alien. Be careful as there have been many blocked. Alien though seems to get through pretty well.
That adds another layer of depth and meaning that I absolutely love.
Very iinfluential band in Japan. Hanabie started out as a MTH cover band and the female drummers of both Nemophila & Band-Maid were inspired by MTH's female drummer that women could suceed there. If you want something harder try Hungry Pride & Shimi

The lyrics of this song are important.
The lyrics are about how Ryo, the vocalist and guitarist, will live with the resentment and revenge for being made fun of and looked down upon by everyone when he was in junior high school, when he was obsessed with manga, and how he will live with his broken heart in the future.

The drummer, Nao, was one of the band's founders, along with Dai, the growling dude. The guitarist/vocalist and main songwriter, Ryo, is Nao's younger bro. The bass player is the excellent Ue-chang.

Nao was the drummer who inspired Akane from band-Maid and Tamu from Nemophila to become drummers. Hanabie started as an Maximum the Hormone cover band. They may be nuts but they're important af, and fans of today's Japanese metal bands own them a whole lot.
At the 'jump scare' Nao's face was *totally* intense,straight out of horror movie.Also I just love the sheer insanity in his screams.
Their song "F" is amazing. And "let's talk about menkata cottelee"
